Rubbish customer service

Rubbish customer service, rubbish online support and scammed us of £530 for a dress that we thought will come early due to the website saying it’ll come in 2 days then apparently as everyone should know it comes in 6 weeks! absolutely devastating as the best time of our lives turned into a hassle of trying to find the money and playing catch the fish with credit card agencies.

Apparently the manager speaks arabic just for her to not speak or even talk, I genuinely do not understand how a shop like this exists. If i didn’t know arabic what would the shop do? I don’t get it.

do not recommend no matter how good a dress looks this isn’t worth it.

I ordered a pashmina abaya for £75 they sent me wrong colour and I didn’t like it they even delivered my package unannounced no confirmation of the order no delivery update nothing for two weeks. Thought I got scammed because they didn’t reply to any of my emails when I received I returned it back by Royal Mail and I tried contacting them after a week no response a woman sent me WhatsApp number I messaged them they did not reply back at all and I still haven’t got my refund in the month of Ramadan when Eid is around the corner and they wanna play games with people scamming people.

But it’s not arived yet, there are not respon from them, I sent email on their email address that I found Instagram but the mail does not exist, I think this store is scam. I send them direct message there is no respon either. Please be carefull. I don’t know how to get my money back.

worst Shop ever

worst Shop ever. ordered hijabs online and they delivered the wrong items. called and emailed them and they didn’t bother to reply or solve this. don’t wast your money. they gave me cheap scarfs instead of the high quality ones i ordered. bloody scam!!!!

They are BIG BIG scammers

They are BIG BIG scammers, We have to pay for 4 item then my daughter don't like one of the dress and she want to change it but they don't want to refund it or exchange it still near the till within 5 minutes after paying the cash amount.
Really rude and disrespectful staff and owner.
Please don't make mistake like me and buy something from them.
Same Crown from them cost £120 pound in Temu is £7 pound.
When you come out from that shop right side of the road many other shops with better quality and better prices obayas.

Please read: A brides worst nightmare

I am beyond frustrated with Ben Harad. After waiting for more than 6 months for my expensive wedding dress, it arrived in a cardboard box
- no protective bag, no care. The dress wasn't even my size, and despite me repeatedly telling them, they tried to force it to fit, ripping parts of it in the process (the padding, the wiring, the sleeves, etc). When I raised concerns, they dismissed me and even insulted my sister for giving her honest opinion. The dress was so badly damaged but they still expected me to pay for it.

To make matters worse, it turned out the dress they were trying to fit me into wasn't even mine - it belonged to another bride. They even had the audacity to mention that the other bride would never know her dress had been torn apart. This is when I realised that they had done this before.

Can you imagine the level of incompetence and sheer disregard for a customer's experience that must take?

The manager Balkis acted as if we were an inconvenience to her, she refused to deal with us and forced her staff to lie and push the blame elsewhere. A staff member that also played a huge part in my emotional trauma was Hayat.

When I took it to another tailor, she was appalled by the state of it: fishing wire used on the inside, falling beading, stains, and loose fabric. This was not what I paid for.

I wouldn't wish this nightmare on anyone. My biggest mistake was trusting them with something so important and dear to my heart. Ben Harad isn't just unprofessional; it's a complete disaster.

DO NOT trust Ben Harad. Save your money and your sanity.

Scammers

I had a very bad experienced. Visited Ben harad Birmingham branch recently. Worst customer service. Most un professional company and…

Most un professional company and Manager.

Ordered my daughter wedding dress and also purchased 3 other bridesmaid dresses from this shop a total spend of almost £5000. The wedding never arrived, we were told numerous lies by all the staff and this behaviour during ramadhan. 6 days before the wedding had to go into the shop and have an argument with the staff and buy a dress that was in the window for my daughter as her wedding was in 6 days time the most awful customer service and very upsetting and stressful for all. Please please do not buy from these scammers.

Massive disappointment

This place is so big on advertisement but their customer service and the way they treat customers it’s awful. I want to warn everyone not to order online. My experience it’s awful. I’ve ordered kaftan , phoned and emailed asking about sizing. First they refunded me as the one I ordered became suddenly unavailable. Then reordered another one it came , during waiting for the package no communication. I asked if it was posted etc no answer. Then it arrived … to small and to short in damaged box. I phoned them many times no answer. Finally someone answered saying they are separate from the shop and it’s a warehouse and to contact by email which I did ! I’ve send around 20 emails …. No answer. I don’t know where to send return and I don’t know if I ever see my 279£ again.

Absolutely awful experience

Absolutely awful experience .

I was fat shamed constantly in this shop and made to feel very inferior. I was told nothing would fit me and followed around , stopped from trying on clothes and the staff were speaking Arabic rudely in front of me about me and my size as though I didn’t know . There was no customer service just arrogance and completely fat shaming individuals .

Biggest scammers

Based on my experience and thousands of other customers, please AVOID THIS SHOP. They are scammers, as soon as you pay for an item then find out it is damaged or whatever, they would not own up to their mistake and refund. Many other shops in Coventry road sell the same items and 10x cheaper. AVOID AVOID AVOID

An elderly gentleman purchased a faulty adhan clock, he returned it however owners declined to offer a replacement or refund in timely professional manner, avoid this establishment, disgusting behaviour. & apparently it’s an Islamic shop.

Sent wrong order but not response

Ordered a white arabic bakhoor and had to wait nearly two week s for my order just for it to come as a completely different order. Sent a email,no response, called up and i’m just being told i will be called back. Just disputed it with my bank and got my money back. never ordering with them again

Absolute joke of a business!

Told that a custom dress would be ready within a week and can on the day we were told to come in to collect it.
Upon getting there, we were made to wait for 2 hours whilst staff were moping about and “looking for the dress” which was paid in full by the way. After the two hours, the manager came back and said that she didn’t have it: it was in the post somewhere and took our details so she could call when it was in. We went in again two weeks later and still no dress. WASTE OF MONEY, TIME AND EFFORT!

Party dress ordered

I ordered a dress which took at least a month to come for a wedding. Then it required alterations which I wasn't impressed by as the tailor charged £75 the stiching wasn't accurate.

However, the lovely Hayat promised me to get my dress corrected and altered on time and she also contacted me as promised. She has very good customer service and very polite.
