We did our Home Loan with Bendigo Bank…

We did our Home Loan with Bendigo Bank through a broker and now we are selling and purchasing a property and financing with another bank. Bendigo will not assist you if you went through a broker and the settlement process is an absolute nightmare. They have had our Discharge form since the 1st April but are refusing to go to settlement. They are completely incompetent and I would never recommend them to anyone.

BENDIGO BANK.......The bank gave me misleading information. I called up the TELLER and asked him if there were any charges if I made a deposit at the post office. He said he wasn’t sure, but he also said that the bank never charges any money on deposits. I made a deposit at the post office and I was hit with the fee. The bank refused to reverse the fee. I was very upset because I went out of my way to go to the post office when I could have finished with depositing at another bank.Staff are not competant. they just want you to open an account and then they dont care

On hold forever!

while I write this I’m on hold, have been for 40 minutes trying to inform them of a scam on my account.
Bendigo were a fantastic small bank now they are just like the big four, don’t listen to their sales pitch
My suggestion avoid avoid avoid.
There must be a better alternative.

I like that the benigo bank stands for but?

I like that the benigo bank stands for ie a Community bank and have been a member and shareholder for over 10 years , but there e-banking is appauling . To access my accounts I have to have a e-phone and an app for bendigo banking.If I want to access my accounts on my computer or tablet I have to recieve a message on my phone to say yes this is me. OK. This I can do, but if I want to access my accounts on my phone I have an error message and cannot see my accounts. I have disabled my VPN and I have re- installed the app to no avail. This is so frustrating, when e-banking should make life far simpler

Bexley Branch - Good Old Fashioned Amazing Service

I have been dealing with the Bexley Branch and they are absolutely amazing. Nothing is too hard for them to resolve. If you miss good old fashion service from people who want to go that extra mile - then this is the Branch I would recommend to anyone. And by the way, their Platinum credit card is incredible value with outstanding features that surpass my previous Citibank Platinum credit card. Seriously, if you live anywhere near this branch, get in and enjoy the service!

I tried to send money via western union…

I tried to send money via western union to my wife in thailand , bank stopped transfer , then told me when i rang them i and in a romance scam , then the stopped my payanyone ( payanyone is only in australia ) and i send money to my daughter and also pay into my othet bank my house loan .
Total idiots , i have bern married to my wife in thailand over 2 years .
These are the idiots in this bank , run from these a/holes

Absolutely terrible bank and customer…

Absolutely terrible bank and customer service to deal with , this bank is always upside down and seems confused with their customer service , they are always training staff , long endless queues , they seem to have high staff turnover after all … particularly from one lady working there ( she is always stressed out and seems to cherry pick customers when offering customer service) … asked the same lady that I wanted to apply for a home loan , with a quick glance she said I wasn’t eligible for it ( x2 times) , after a few week I got a home loan with another bank. Then I asked to apply for a credit card , she said they were understaffed and I should probably do it myself , then I asked her after few weeks if I could get exchange some international notes ( in great condition ) but folded in my minimal pocket , she refused! She lied and said they were soiled! I have pics of them… And she accused me of being disrespectful to her… I would NOT recommend this bank! Terrible and very amateurish on all regards

Not what you think

I went the bank to put money in and it wouldn't deposit, so I asked why, and they said I would get a call that day. That was 3 weeks ago. I even sent them a message asking for information. Still nothing. So I went to the bank and they handed me a letter saying they had closed my account and kept the money in it. No reason why, absolutely no communication whatsoever. So unprofessional and no customer service at all.

They paid $2000 to settle my complaint…

I tried to get a home loan from them. They made countless mistakes and I sent them 40 emails and countless phone calls to follow up. It was approved three days before the settlement. If I hadn't made those follow-ups, the settlement would definitely be missed. The consultant refused to provide any progress update all through the process.

I lodged a complaint with them and they came back saying "We have done nothing wrong" and refused to apologize.

I then lodged a complaint with Australian Financial Complaints Authority. They speedily paid $2000 to settle it!

So people with a Bendigo Up account can…

So people with a Bendigo Up account can just steal your money and Bendigo can't do anything even though they have the identity of the thief... bloody useless. So I guess people who lose money will just get their own account and steal it back off someone else. Great system!

Hubby in his seventies wanted a credit…

Hubby in his seventies wanted a credit card so that banking would be centralised…own home, no mortgage..money in the bank..but they said NO. Customer person not very helpful….the reason why was because the age pension not deemed income. How come $45,000 received from government NOT income. Go figure…have dated experience but this happened more than a year ago.

Appalling Online Banking Platform

The worst online banking system in Australia. The security system is a bug infested joke. I can't pay anybody because the very low limit keeps resetting. Avoid.

With the current IT Staff running that…

With the current IT Staff running that absolute garbage App.
I will give Bendigo bank a ZERO.
The entire IT department must be FIRED.
And whoever signed the IT team the senior executive must be fired.
It is beyond pathetic how the team is gainfully employed.
It is beyond me.
I may join a new bank as I can no longer bank on my phone my Mac or my pc.

Went to the Eaglehawk branch

Went to the Eaglehawk branch , endured the long wait to see a teller.
Checked my statement today , and found I was charged by the bank , a fee for seeing a teller to withdraw my own money.
Not impressed.
