Awful Experience - Be ware!!!

I wish I checked reviews before clicking on the "free" gift. Everything went wrong! After calling numerous times - thankfully I work from home otherwise who has time to call between 9-5 and wait for extended periods of time only to be told that account is cancelled and yet still get charged!! I urge you to stay away!

Scammers

Was offered a free case of 8 beers through another company and all I had to pay was delivery. £6+ . Not a bad deal I thought. Only to find out Beer52 had created an account for me. Only found out when they emailed me saying beer on way. Contacted them for refund, no refund as per T&C which I never saw or signed. Blocked them at my bank. Hopefully Beer52 have cancelled my so called account. They are nothing short of Scammers.

As long as you are willing too keep praying the over the odds for cheap produce then all is good. Calling to cancel is not easy. It is time consuming.

Rubbish - Scam

Rubbish, got the "free" case deal, paid for postage, then they have your details with you having no understanding you're subscribed, managed to get through before they took another payment and can cancelled. Woman, not from Edinburgh 🙄 was really rude on the phone, was clearly annoyed I wanted to cancel, I'm annoying so I didn't care but could upset some.

Don't bother with them, it's clearly a scam.

Impossible to cancel

Impossible to cancel, so the 'gift' is not free. Will send an email notifying them I am cancelling the standing order, and attempt a call which I will record as a failed attempt (probably). Provide the email to my bank and cancel the standing order. If they complain I'll responds cc'ing them in with evidence to citizens advice, noting that they recorded the reasons I wanted to leave on the website, so must have know of my intent to cancel the standing order even if they didn't provide the button to do so.

Awful company with terrible reputation.

I feel like a scam victim at Christmas

I actively set out not to sign up for a subscription. When I was charged without warning for a subscription a month later, I called and a very helpful person explained that was no problem, and cancelled the order. I was given an email address to email for a refund.

It took them two or three weeks to get back to me and promises of a callback that never happened. When they did they sent me a screenshot of a desktop site and explained where the small print was off to one side that I missed. I signed up on mobile and saw no such thing.

They also explained the wine was left on my doorstep 10 days prior. I was on holiday and had not made any arrangements because I was told the order was cancelled.

Don't Use.

Offering free case of beer to customers on checkout from the Argos website. Makes you sign up for a £27-a-month subscription first. Then they won't let you cancel the subscription until 24 hours - at which point, it cannot be done via their website, you have to phone them and wait on hold for ages before haggling with a phone operator just to cancel. Completely immoral.
