Always good service and usually says on the product if it is in stock or not. I enjoy dealing with this company. i have called up with an urgent order once and they brought it to the top of the list. thank you
The experience I had I was told that it would take a few days for order then part of the order was dispatched straight away and then was told that it would be weeks to finish full order when I was told sooner
good quality frames didnt have any issues putting frames together (cut well) quick delivery, foundations also good, good price 👍
stock levels are misleading , when you order in stock items and they go out of stock they don’t let you know. When they tell you you order will ship it then does not and you have to chase them for a poor excuse.

Terrible experience in every sense. To begin with, I ordered some queens and they postponed the shipping 3 times, anyone with beekeeping experience knows the effort required to maintain a queenless colony for weeks. I repeatedly asked for a tracking number and they refused to provide one, so I had to waste several days waiting at home to receive the queens.
The works part is that the queens were TERRIBLE, visually tiny and skinny, half of them were rejected by the queenless colonies...and 1 was infected with chalkbrood. Terribly irresponsible supplier

The beehive did take a little while to arrive but delivery was 4-6weeks the product was excellent quality though. I am still waiting for Queen excluder though. I would definitely use Bee Equipment again
Good products at a good price. The bucket was larger than I expected, but should have checked the dimensions.
Love dealing with Bee Equipment great customer service very helpful fast delivery courier waits long enough to answer the door or puts it in a safe place.
Soo after the issue below they agreed to give us a credit to compensate and now we have come to build the hive we find that the brood box is missing from the order
What is the problem - can't people read orders and action!!!!
Maybe its time to go to B & Q who are now selling hives
You sent the wrong thing and when I tried to phone you didn't pick up and your not replying to emails
I used to be a fan, but not anymore. I've purchased quite a few hundred pounds worth of equipment from these folks. The orders were always a tad slow, and I usually had to nudge them to find out what was going on, but it wasn't the end of the world. You sort of balance that out with the prices, product range, and such.
Unfortunately, that "and such" became the problem.
It all started when I placed an order for a queen on a Saturday. Within an hour, I had a change of heart, thinking there might already be a virgin queen in the hive. So, I looked for a way to cancel the order. There wasn't a way to do it in their online shop.
They were closed when I called, and the message directed me to email them, so I did. All of this happened within an hour of placing the order. I tried calling again on Sunday, but heard nothing. I didn't receive any communication from them until Monday around 11 am indicating they were back at work. I was told I couldn't get a refund because they don't refund queens "for obvious reasons."
I could understand if they had already packaged one up and sent it, or if they had specifically bred one for me. But the truth is, they hadn't taken any action on the order at all and chose to disregard my right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. I did point this out, but it was also ignored, and instead, I received a voucher of the same value as the cancelled purchase.
I then used that voucher to buy some other products. After waiting for a week and having to inquire about the order, I was informed that they were "just processing it today." It makes you wonder why they make you wait. I get the feeling that online orders take a backseat to local collections.
Well, regardless, they claim that "the warehouse" made an error, and they can't fulfil the entire order. They discovered this a week after I placed the order, which is simply awful no matter how you look at it.
This ties in with the online inventory either being incorrect or playing second fiddle to local collections. They offered me a refund for the items that are out of stock (a feeder), and I accepted it. However, they went ahead and added the refund to the voucher, so now I'm tied to them again. Interestingly, the item is still available for purchase on their website. Quite odd.
I'm not sure if it's shady business or just poor processes, but one thing's for sure, it's not customer-focused. Caveat emptor.
Excellent stock range, good prices and offers. Postage prices (which are invoiced separately) to the Isle of Man where I live are reasonable and delivery times are good.
Good range of products available. Good communication from staff for delivery times. Overall good experiences when I order.
The repair was done under warranty, very quickly and delivered back to me in a very short time scale.
Thank you.
