I cannot praise this company enough. Fantastic personal service from Danny, despite the difficulties caused by lockdown. He promised me my bed within 48 hours and it arrived on time - AMAZING!! Delighted with the beautiful bed too .

Absolutely ridiculous company

Absolutely ridiculous company, ordered a bed almost a month ago now and recurved an email a couple weeks ago saying the delivery team will contact me soon to book a slot, I wasn’t contacted and I’ve had to email the company 5 times and every time I was told I will be contacted that day or the next, again absolutely nothing I have been extremely lenient with them but it has been thrown back in my face. Do not order from this company unless you want your bed to arrive after months.

Where is my bed

Where is my bed? I've ordered a bed which I received an email that the colour was out of stock but they had it in a different colour. I replied saying please send the one in stock. I am still waiting!!! No contact no nothing! I want answers or this will be reported to my bank.

Apologies for the issues surrounding your order. A full refund has been issued and the order has been cancelled due to the foul language we have received over the weekend during our closure. We emailed you on Wednesday to advise of the issue regarding the colour being out of stock. You replied on Friday after our 1pm cut off period to advise you were wanting the alternative colour offered. The bed would therefore have been dispatched today however due to the threats and the language over the weekend we have seen no alternative but to cancel the order and issue a full refund. BedSOS does not expect staff to have to deal with foul language of that nature.

I ordered a bed and mattress for my son now a couple of weeks ago, I've received an email saying it has been dispatched and that a delivery team will be on touch to organise delivery.
Has no communication now so I'm getting a little worried after reading these reviews perhaps should of read them before.
I've now emailed twice more and had no reply!!
Disapointeted.

Very disappointed!

Very disappointed!Ordered the bed on 26th April!Still haven't got it!Usually I am very patent person,but this time I am really running out of patience and will have probably to be talking to trading standards!I I was asking for an update about where my bed could be and was told that once they contacted the currier would be back to me...but no...No phone call or email!Still waiting!

Apologies for the courier issues. Initially we recalled the bed frame you ordered as you stated you needed a 5ft, not a 4ft6. We upgraded the size free of charge at a cost to ourselves. We explained that there were some courier delays in your area and that when the initially ordered bed frame was returned back by the courier, the upgraded 5ft bed would be dispatched. The 5ft bed was dispatched, however due to the delays in your local area, the COVID-19 situation, skeleton staff at the couriers network, etc, there were slightly longer delays. We liaised with you yesterday when you asked for a refund and to cancel the order. The order is being cancelled and a full refund is being issued, as requested. We apologise that you have had this experience. Unfortunately when goods leave us, and due to the current pandemic across the whole of the UK, there is some delays in some areas. Unfortunately these delays reflect badly on BedSOS, which in turn results in negative feedback. We have an influx in email correspondence, however despite our website stating emails can take upto 48hrs to be responded to, we have been responding to your concerns within a 24hr period. As stated, the refund is being issued as requested. Staff did attempt to call you back yesterday, however there was no answer. Staff then moved on to the next customer issue. Apologies once again for the experience you have had with BedSOS.

Still only half a bed 4 weeks later

I can't believe this company is allowed to trade. The worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life, with examples of failed call backs, lack of caring and are seen happily to do online business but show no accountability in whether or not you receive your order. They continuously blame the courier they use and that the current National pandemic as an excuse to hide behind their repeated failings. I ordered a bed almost 3 weeks ago on the online platform and I was inform it would be delivered within 5 days (brilliant I thought). Friday comes and goes and nothing. Have to wait until the Monday to call the number on their website. Call then on the Monday to be told there was an issue with the courier's (understandable) given the current climate. I was patient and understood and the said they would call the courier and call me straight back with an update, no call happened that day. I called again the next day, totally understanding again that they could be short staffed, working from home and under pressure to get through calls. But again, I was met with they would call the courier and see where it is. No call back happened and I was beginning to think this was more a lack of caring and accountability. I had to call again the next day to be informed the order was coming that night between 1500-1700. This sounded more promising. Again, no delivery so I called the next day and they said the delivery drivers had an issue so it would be with me that night between 1600-1800. Nothing! I began to honestly think this was some type of fraud until later in that week (nearly 2 weeks from order) the bed got delivered. I thought this was the end of the issue, but no, they had only delivered half a bed. I mean how is that even possible??? After speaking to the courier they said they can only deliver what is at the depot, meaning blaming the courier was their easy way out of owning up to poor distribution practices at this business.
I called the office again and explained only half a bed was at my property and when would the rest arrive. Again I was met with "let me call the Courier's and see what happened, then I'll call you back within the hour" guess what? That's right no call back. And yes I did ask to stay on hold while they done this, but they said as they're working from home this wasn't possible as they had no 2nd line. I had to accept and trust a company that can sell something and accept money for a product would certainly show good practice and faith in seeing a sale through to completion. This more or less repeated until I sent numerous email to the company with no response (even though you need to email them to arrange a refund and to return goods) and still had no response. I've been left no choice but to speak to Trading Standards as they've failed to deliver a product they not only advertise, but have taken money from a paying customer. Given the current climate, my partner is classed as vulnerable, and also pregnant and we need to sleep in separate rooms, so new bed was essential. We've been really let down by this company and their lack of caring. If they cannot follow through on delivery as I'm sure many business have faced challenges during the country pandemic, then they really need to consider if they are operating within the limits of good business here, to which I would say, no they're not. I would recommend anyone to stay away from this and to hopefully avoid the experience I've had as given the personal circumstances at my home, it has left us in a predicament, both financially and for my partner's health. Trading Standards and Citzens advice have reiterated that it is their duty to chase the courier they choose to use to deliver their goods and not give the cold shoulder to paying customers. If they can't operate to withing the expectations of Trading Standards and the Consumer Rights act (which is still law given the pandemic) then they shouldn't be operating if they're affected that much. My next step is to continue in my case with Trading Standards and look for a refund and the company to come and pick up their incomplete goods they have sold me. Shocking display of customer service, but more disappointed in the lack of care and accountability.

Please accept our sincere apologies for the lack of service you have received from our staff; unfortunately, such as all companies currently working during these unprecedented times we have been dealing with an increase in issues due to a lack of staff on the couriers part, suppliers part, our part (due to COVID-19 and the Government lockdown) which has understandably had a knock on effect across the board, not just on your order but some customers have been affected.

I understand the issue is now resolved, and you are in receipt of the final package. We apologise sincerely for these issues, which were genuinely beyond our control, and the inconvenience and frustration caused to yourself due to the courier issues.

Unfortunately, as we are on skeleton staff and have had a surge in emails, calls and complaints; unfortunately the staff on hand were unable to get around everyone fast enough. I can assure you this was an isolated issue, where multiple factors impacted the delivery of your goods. We now have further staff on hand to assist with the unexpected surge in queries and issues.

We ordered a bed and mattress on Sunday…

We ordered a bed and mattress on Sunday 3rd May and chose delivery day of Thursday 7th, plenty of time to have it ready, on Wednesday 6th we had a dispatch email which put our minds at rest having read the reviews but here we are Saturday 9th and still no delivery, I have called and emailed and had no responce. We're so disappointed as this was for our son. Hopefully I will eventually be able to get hold of someone but who knows when that might be.

UPDATE - Bed finally arrived and all came together, bed is OK quality and easy to assemble, will not be using this company again due to the complete lack of customer service, I received no call backs when told and then the phone lines closed! Even the responses to emails (if you're lucky). Was vague and they avoided questions.

Not worth the headache.

We have received an uplift of emails due to delivery delays with the couriers during the convid-19 period. We apologise for this inconvenience. As a company we should have contacted you sooner but due to government guide lines we only have half the work force working in the office.

As per our email your order was dispatched on Wednesday on a next day delivery service. So it should have been received on Thursday. However we are discovering delays up and down the country. Due to the bank holiday Friday the courier's next working day was Monday so the delivery should happen tomorrow.

We apologise for the delays.

However as per our email we will ring the courier and contact you tomorrow with an ETA.

Ordered a next day delivery bed and…

Ordered a next day delivery bed and mattress. Bed delivered without the mattress at 19:00... nobody to take a call at that time. Called next day, no response, emailed and was told the mattress is out for delivery that day. It did not arrive. Since then they don't reply on any calls or emails and I'm still waiting on a mattress that don't know when will arrive.
Poorest service ever! Avoid at all costs!

I ordered a Bed on April the 16th still not here

It is now 16:08 and i still have not received the rest of my bed, i am VERY Conscious that it should have been delivered as per the Reply from Danny below

Please contact me to reassure that this is not just another broken promise

I ordered a Bed on April the 16th

I did not hear anything from them other than the customary Order Confirmation, after 2 weeks still nothing so i phoned them and they assured me that the bed would be delivered that afternoon.
No Bed that afternoon! i phoned them back in the morning and they said we will talk to the Courier , i did ask them to send me a confirmation email or a mail with the delivery slot on, Nothing!!

Phoned them back the next day to be told the bed had been damaged and they will get a replacement, but it wont be for a couple of days or after the weekend.

Tuesday came nothing so far, again i had to phone them again to be told they would talk to the courier for a time, i waited a few hours was going to phone them back, but this time they beat me to it and said it is on the VAN for delivery.

GOOD NEWS!! the bed turned up (or so we thought) i asked the Courier is that the only box he said yes and obviously due to social distancing i could not check, he drove off we opened the box only half a bed and a note on the Box saying Box 1 of 2, BEDSOS who promised to get back to me in 10 Mins, i had to phone them again and this time they told me the other part is on the VAN and will be with me before 6! Guess what??? yes you guessed it it never arrived, i am now waiting on the phone to try and speak to them again

Now i know we are in unprecedented time but the communication and customer service has been appalling, the mattress from a different company came within 2 days and my Daughter has been sleeping on the floor on the Mattress ever since

My Advice is do not use this company to purchase anything, the 1 star is for the people on the phone as i feel sorry for them.

Good products but not so good delivery

The products themselves were spot on and well priced. Other than being promised dates which weren’t met, the service was great. A children’s nursery is better organised

Plain and simple. Do not use this company.
Deposit paid on a bed. Email confirmation received of delivery for 3 working days later.
I called on the day of delivery and was advised delivery would be one of the lasts drop of the day. No delivery made.
On the day after advised delivery, exact same scenario. Advised one of the last drops of the day, no delivery made.
After 2 days of being completely fobbed off from this company, I decided to send an email to the customer service team. To which on the 3rd working day after expected delivery, I finally received an email response from customer service. I was advised the bed was damaged in transit and I wouldn’t receive delivery of any goods until another 7 working days after expected delivery.
To then be told this is beyond the companies control as it was damaged by the courier is an absolute cop out. I was given no reason whatsoever for the delayed delivery the first 2 days of delivery. The shambles was resolved by me cancelling my deposit and order altogether after not having any sign of any goods a week later.
Awful customer service. Awful couriers. Awful excuses. You have been warned.

Unreliable service.

Unreliable service.

Placed an order on the 12th of April to get my bed delivered on15th.
Called the customer support on 14th to confirm the date.

No calls or texts on the delivery date and I ended up sleeping on the floor in the new flat.

Definitely won't recommend.

I am so cross that I did not see these…

I am so cross that I did not see these reviews before I ordered. I phoned on Monday and was told that if I ordered by 12, I would get a delivery the next day. No delivery Tuesday and no communication. I phoned at 9 a.m. today and spoke to a lady who said she would check with the courier and come back to me. I had no response so have phoned 10 times, and guess what, now goes straight to answer phone.
I have also e-mailed and no response.
This sounds like a rogue company to me.
I want to cancel my order, but worry I wont get my money back.

Perfect!

Honestly cannot fault this company even at all!

Was a little dubious because of some of the bad reviews but thought we’d risk it.

I called before we ordered to check the mattress we wanted was definitely in stock and the lady was very helpful.
We ordered it at about 10:30am and it arrived pretty much exactly 24hrs later.
Would definitely use them again!

The mattress itself, we ordered a Slumber Sleep Cool 70. Used it for one night and already I can’t believe the difference. First time in iver a year that I haven’t woken up with a banging headache.

All in all brilliant experience with Bed SOS!
