AVOID at all costs this company and Haagarts

AVOID at all costs this company and their Facebook Lissa John John and also another company name they use Haagarts from Bradford. Purchased a chair at an agreed price and delivery time. Then paid a deposit and it all went wrong and down hill from there. They wanted to charge more after agreeing a price. Misleading with the delivery date constantly. Ignoring messages after reading them. Lying about that my chair was ready for delivery and then saying we have only just got the fabric. Then out for delivery. Baring in mind when it suited them to deliver. If it wasn't convenient for me tough. No show twice when I was told it was being delivered. Then no mechanism for the chair after a week ago they told me it was ready. Then a problem with a part stuck on a container. Lies after lies, contradicting themselves all the time. I was sending message after message on Facebook and WhatsApp and was constantly being ignored after days of trying. Tried to ring but no reply. After ordering in April and an expected deliver of 10 to 12 days I eventually got a refund yesterday 31st May of my deposit. This company is disgraceful and dishonest. Do not trust them, buy anything from them as they are unfair traders. Misleading and liars.

(Also goes by the name of HAAGhandcraft…

(Also goes by the name of HAAGhandcraft LTD). AVOID at all costs!!!!

They use old stock pictures of their sofa’s to lure you in, agree to everything you ask for and then when the sofa turns up (at whatever time and day at their leisure, not at the agreed time they gave you. Expect your delivery to be sprung upon you without half an hours notice) it looks NOTHING like what was agreed. The workmanship and finish of the sofa is god awful, the foam padding is misshapen, you can see exposed stitching and staples, the back of the sofa is so untidy it looks like a adolescent teenager’s wood-tec GCSE project. The legs provided were the wrong colour and style, basically you’ll be sold a dream and conned. Have you seen the Willy Wonka experience fiasco that’s happening in Glasgow? Exactly like that, if you’ve not please look it up for reference on “What you paid for VS what you received”.

The 2x delivery men were forceful and manipulative - wouldn’t leave without being paid for the sofa. Baring in mind I’m a petite woman by herself, the whole interaction was so so inappropriate and scary. In the end I had to give the money as none of us could get a hold of HAAG and the men were getting angrier and angrier because they had other deliveries to do.
When ordering the sofa the representative was super responsive, but during the delivery situation and when contacting the representative to fix the error of the sofa I received, I got rude and blunt replies or just ignored. I was told the delivery men weren’t HAAG’s problem so how they behaved was irrelevant to them (whose is it if it’s not theirs - they’re delivering your goods??). And HAAG wasn’t willing to offer any sort of compensation, nor take the sofa back. They’re constantly changing their names/website link, I can only assume because many customers have complained/taken them to court as I have. The owner has open and closed a handful of LTD companies in the past few years, I again assume because of this exact reason, you can find this information yourselves on company’s house.

There is a loophole in these Facebook furniture businesses, they can rob anyone of their money for terribly rubbish products, rack up complains/ccj’s, close down the company and then start a new one up.

Horrendous experience from this company and every other company affiliated with them. If I could give them 0 stars I’d give them -1,000,000.
