"Inflexible Lender Forces Livelihood Threat Despite Proven Loyalty and Hardship"
As a loyal, repeat customer, I am incredibly disappointed and feel let down by this company. Despite my proven history of financial responsibility, good-faith partial payments during a recent downturn, and extraordinary efforts made during vehicle downtime, the company is now threatening my livelihood over a $
30% balance and refusing all communication or negotiation.
I previously purchased and paid off a vehicle with this company without a single hiccup. In good faith, I returned for a second vehicle purchase. The representative assured me I was receiving the "same type of deal" as before. It was not. I was placed in a lease-with-option-to-buy agreement, which fundamentally changed my financial obligations and flexibility—a fact that was obscured during the sale process.
My industry recently experienced a significant slowdown. Furthermore, the vehicle itself required extensive repairs—a full transmission and radiator replacement. This resulted in over six weeks of vehicle downtime with zero income for me.
Crucially, even during that six-week period of no income and no vehicle use, I continued to make my full monthly payments. This demonstrates my commitment to honoring the contract.
When the industry slowdown persisted, I proactively contacted the company to ask for a temporary restructure of the deal to lower payments until my finances stabilized. They refused outright.
Communication has been appalling. It is nearly impossible to get a representative from the billing department on the phone. No one is ever available, messages are never returned, and my assigned account manager is dismissive, constantly deflecting responsibility by saying someone else makes all the decisions.
I have not abandoned my contract; I am making continuous partial payments to keep the account current. With less than 14 months left on a 40-month contract, I expected a shred of understanding or flexibility for a loyal customer who has clearly demonstrated a commitment to payment, even under duress.
Instead, they are pursuing action that threatens my entire livelihood. This experience has shown me that this company only cares about the bottom line and has zero regard for customer loyalty or real-world financial hardship. Future customers should be warned: do not expect any humanity or flexibility if you encounter a difficult patch.

I had a large major client (Tricolor Auto) go bankrupt, and they were unable to pay me a large sum of money I was counting on to run my business. I asked Beacon for a 1 month payment deferral, and they insisted on adding $700+ of additional interest at the end of my loan for the minor deferral, which would have been a negligible effort for them. The representative stated "There will be a cost" and "We simple don't do deferrals".
They have every right to stand their ground and leave you on the ground you fell to. There is no contractual obligation for them to lend a helping hand, and they didn't for me.
If you’re a small business owner who needs flexibility during downturns, be aware that Beacon is not that kind of lender.

They take out money from your account with out any proof or authorization and wont sent you any proof why they take it out, they do this often and wont refund it back !!! don't do business with them !!! Deepa and Anthonio are terrible personal to talk too !!! dont buy from them !!!

Asher was awesome! We are new owners who reincorporated a business that had been operating for 15+ years, so we are considered a start up company. Asher was able to take all of the information we provided into consideration and allow us to purchase our first new assett as a new company. He was professional, informative and patient, never pushy, and had the answers or found them for the questions we asked. He was just overall a pleasure to work with. There was a bit of a delay with a title issue (not on Beacons end) and there was constant communication until the issue was resolved. We wanted to upgrade some equipment and sell old equipment within 24 hours of posting Taylor had brought in over half a dozen qualified offers and a day later it sold! A lot of companies offer up empty promises but not Taylor and chase. When they say they are going to do something they do it! My experience with Beacon Funding, a company promising best-in-class equipment financing solutions since 1990, was disappointing and troubling. From the start, aggressive sales tactics raised red flags, as representatives pushed their services without understanding my business needs.
Despite these concerns, I engaged with Beacon, hoping for the flexible financing options they advertised, like Lease-To-Own and Start-Up Financing. However, the reality was a stark contrast. Customer service was largely unresponsive, and the financing terms lacked the promised flexibility, feeling more designed to benefit Beacon than support my business's growth.
The application process was another pain point, fraught with opaque terms and unexpected fees that only became apparent too late. What was marketed as a streamlined experience felt more like navigating through a maze of bureaucracy, far removed from their claims of sound business practices and a dedication to customer satisfaction.
In reflection, Beacon Funding's service felt misleading, closely bordering on deceptive, rather than the premier financing resource they claim to be. The discrepancy between their advertised commitment to customer care and the actual service provided was significant. My advice to others considering Beacon for equipment financing is to proceed with caution and explore more transparent and customer-focused alternatives.
