Listen people avoid avoid I don't write bad reviews ever but this site is no good when you want to leave they ask you to send letter to Belgium to request them to cancel payment. Customer service is shocking. The app provides no realistic format of talking to anyone and you are limited in how you can search. They send you 10 people a day many are copies from days previous. It's poor poor poor. Avoid and save your money. Goto match .com it works but that cost a 6 month subscription. Even if you cancel. After a month so beware of that. Anyway it's a far better site you talk to real people and will go on real dates. I am no longer single. Be2 will keep you single and will only empty your wallet 1000% stay away.

This is a fraudulent scam.
I don't even know who you are and $400 was taken from my account for a subscription. I don't use your services.
All my passwords to Paypal, emails and bank have had to be changed.
Now that I have read these reviews, I see you have ripped a few people off.
Currently this is transaction is in dispute and on hold with Paypal.
You scam artists.
As you left your details to contact, I have emailed through countless times and no response from you at all. PayPal have also tried contact to no avail. You're useless.

Estafadores! Again, misleading, just taking money out of your account without warning, not being able to cancel,... all these companies are the same! My bank approved the fact that they took money out of my account without my permission as being fraudulent, I had to block my account and ask new cards! What a waste of time and money!

I was sceptical at first but could find first matches very quickly.

This website is very easy to use. I have found trouble using dating websites because they were not clear enough and I did not know how to use them, so I ended up giving up. But this website is soooo easy. I have met a lot people without losing my time trying to figure out how to use the website.

These f'n turds just helped themselves to $300 out of my bank account on Wednesday night. Paypal has been ridiculous and said it was an authorized transaction. I've never even been to the website before let alone agreed to pay them $300 for nothing. Im furious. I called the bank straight away and changed my card details and they are looking into it but paypal has closed the dispute just like that and they have me running around in circles on their bloody website.

They are a scam…. the monthly fees were in NZ dollars, but when I paid the amount was changed in euros which was almost double the amount that I thought I was paying… I sent them through PayPal a message to cancel and was smart enough to cancel my automatic prescription through PayPal so they couldn’t take more money of mine, they didn’t respond to the email… nor was there any possibility to cancel on there website.., so I sent a email through PayPal and because it wasn’t sent from the email address that I was using to log in on there website even though it came from the address where they previously got paid through they were reluctant to acknowledge that I cancelled…. They didn’t send a reminder nor any messages to let me know etc. and waited more then a month to respond demanding payment and threatening with legal procedures straight away… beware and stay away from this website….

Has anyone ever been taken to court for not paying the fees?

This is a SCAM going on in many countries around the world (Australia, Denmark, Hungary, New Zealand, Romania, UK, etc.) since at least 2012. There are almost no real people that you can get in contact with. The bogus company under which they operate is BE2 registered in Luxembourg. There is no use in trying to contact this company because you will get no answer. They charge you a small fee for the first month and, starting from the second month of subscription, they take many time more than the fee you agreed to open your account on their website. Recently, they have changed their MO and now retrieve large sums of money from people's bank accounts, even multiple times a month. Once you register, they have your credit card data and have access to your bank account until your credit card expires. You simply cannot end your subscription. Under no circumstance should you send them a request of ending the subscription, sign it and give them your home address. They will start sending at home letters from a so-called "debt collecting company" in order to intimidate you claiming absurd amounts of money. Do not pay them anything, the debt collecting company is just another scam, don't fall for that. They are doing this illegally and they know it, they simply rely on the fact that people scare off easily and pay when they receive such letters. The police or consumer protection cannot do anything because these guys cannot be located anywhere, they operate internationally. If you happen to have registered with "academic singles" or "be2", contact IMMEDIATELY your bank and request the bank to DENY the payment of your money towards the company Be2 because you have been defrauded. Provide the bank proof of the fraud. If you announce the bank in due time (there is a maximum number of days from the day of the payment to Be2 until you contact the bank) they can initiate procedures and get all your money back. If you exceed this period, the bank cannot help you and banks are the only ones to be able to do something. Until you solve this issue via your bank, if you cannot cancel your credit card immediately, set the payment limit to 0. The scammers will try to withdraw money from it every month until it expires. Hope this helps. Beware of any automatically renewable subscriptions, they are extremely tricky and dangerous!

This site will suck you dry. They took my last money which is R1000 on my account, I've sent them an email but I haven't got any response from them. I went to the bank to stop my card and they are still busy with investigations, just hope I get my money back🥺.
