The tax implications were a large aspect of the draw for me. The Barrel and bond team made the entire process seamless and transparent. I feel very confident with my investment and the team.
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first looked into whisky investment, but Barrel & Bond made it simple and transparent. The process was smooth, the team are approachable and clearly passionate about what they do, and I’ve felt supported every step of the way. It’s a great mix of enjoying the whisky world now while knowing my cask is a long-term asset.
Really impressed with Barrel & Bond. The whole process was smooth, transparent, and professional from start to finish. Communication has been excellent, the team are knowledgeable and supportive, and I feel confident in how my investment is being managed. Would definitely recommend to anyone interested in whisky cask investment.
I’m Callum, the Managing Director’s partner, but I first came on board through the original syndicate of family and friends. We went up to Scotland, I tasted some whisky, and with some inheritance I had, I invested and ended up buying six barrels (a full pallet). The service has been excellent, and visiting the distilleries really gives you a sense of what this industry is about. I’m excited to be part of it and to see the value grow over the years ahead.
I’m a consultant for the syndicate but also a client myself. I’ve been up to Scotland to visit the distilleries and personally bought an allocation of around £50,000 in the first friends and family syndicate. All my stock is in my name at Lowland Bonds and has been delivered properly. I’m looking forward to investing more in the future and I’m super excited about what’s ahead.
