I purchased a barney bed in 2021 for my old girl who needed additional support due to having hip dysplasia. This bed provided her with so much support and helped her mobility during her last few years with us, she loved it ❤️ our girl went to sleep in April 2023, I then passed this amazing bed onto a friends furbaby. I will be purchasing a new bed very soon as we have just welcomed a beautiful little cavalier into our 🏡 & 💕. I have a 10 year old Golden Retriever named Charlie and he had a major knee surgery about a year ago plus he getting to that stage in life that arthritis is starting to kick in as well. I wanted to get him a good quality bed that can support his knee and arthritis very well. I searched dog beds online, and one of the website popped up was Barney Bed! I was tempted to have a look on your website to see what the beds were going to look and will it support my dog or not? After reading many reviews and seeing the features of the bed. I had to order one as soon as possible cause I was very happy with all the features, reviews on how it affects the dog.

Now after 12 months having the Barney Bed, I can see Charlie is one happy dog who loves to sleep in the Barney bed everyday and his leg has improved a lot since the surgery. It’s like he has a brand new leg! No issues with limping around when he gets out of bed. Thank you so much! You have made his life a thousand times better!

Barney Beds sell themselves! I was so hesitant at the cost, in case my dog didn’t like it. But I have never regretted it. My dog clearly LOVES it, Will actively move from other areas of the house to go in his Barney bed. Easy to clean, comfy enough for a human!

I bought lots of cheaper beds before this and my dog never slept on them. With the Barney Bed he goes and puts himself to sleep on it before even the family all head off to bed, because he loves sleeping on it so much.

The only bed my dogs have not destroyed, and they both share one extra large one (they're not even the closest!) It's also easy to clean, so it looks good inside.

My dog Herbie absolutely adores his Barney Bed. We tossed up for a while as to what size to get him (between medium and large) and we ended up going for the medium, which is more than big enough. Herbie loves to rest his chin on things when he’s napping, so he loves the chin rest edge design, and he seems so much more comfortable in his Barney bed than in his old cheap beds. The covers could be better priced - with some covers being more expensive than the bed itself - but i still can’t fault them.

I wanted the best bed possible for my dog and this is it. Australian, so comfortable and squash proof, it’s the only bed he hasn’t taken a nibble out of. Perhaps it’s because he loves it so much. I’ve had dogs all my life and can confidently say this is the BEST bed you can get on the market. If he wasn’t always in it, I’d probably take a nap in it myself. Worth. Every. Cent. This is my own independent review and I can say all those cheaper beds I’ve bought and had to throw out probably cost more than this one Barney Bed that we’ve had for over 3 years now and still looks brand new.

I highly recommend the Barney bed, I purchased a Barney bed over 2 years ago now because I had recently found out my dog had right Luxor patella and after extensive research I found the benefits of a high quality bed for helping my dogs symptoms not get worse, I was so recommended Barney bed by my vet. I highly recommend the quality and comfort of my Barney bed is amazing. I have washed it multiple times and it still looks as good as new ever time! My dogs absolutely love their bed!

The Barney bed arrived very quickly and it was easy to unravel upon arrival! I am very pleased to see an Australian made company doing so well! Admittedly, I was sceptical about purchasing a new bed for $250 given my boy loved his old one, however, he loves the Barney bed and I am glad I made the purchase!

Is it made for dogs? Yes. Can you and your friends sleep on it? Yes.

I’ve had my Barney Bed for a year and a half now. I have my own 3 large breed dogs (Mastiff, American Bulldog & Staffy) and I regularly foster dogs of all breeds and all sizes.
I have never had a bed that they’ve loved more.
They’ll stretch out and take up the whole bed, and other times they curl up into 1/4 of the bed.
They use it to sleep, they collect their toys onto it and play, they rough house with each other on it. It’s used for everything.
I’ve spent countless hours snuggled up with the dogs on the Barney Bed. It’s got so much room for adults and dogs combined. We’ve even had movie nights with the kids (put a sheet over the bed) and it turns into a perfect slumber mattress on the floor. The head rest works as a perfect pillow for humans.

In a year and a half, I’ve had numerous foster dogs come through. A lot of which were not house trained, or were puppies and hadn’t been toilet trained. There have been accidents on the Barney Bed, and it still looks as fresh as ever. The bed is so easy to wipe spills or urine off of, as it pools on the top due to the waterproof layer underneath. I’ve washed the cover now numerous times, and it comes up so well. It’s easy to get on and off, and having a removable cover makes a world of difference. I don’t need to throw out a (non washable) bed after a while from accidents inside.
My dogs love to chew, but they’ve never even poked a tooth into the Barney Bed. I think they love it too much. They’re obsessed with the head rest, they use it all the time, and from all the playing, jumping, toy chewing, there’s never even been a tear in the entire bed. It’s very durable.
The mattress itself is so supportive, and doesn’t lose its shape even with 100kg of dogs laying on it every day. One of my dogs has arthritis and this bed is the perfect bed for her. It supports her body and her legs, whilst giving her a head rest too. I’ve always wanted the best for my dogs and I’ve absolutely found it. Honestly, I’ve considered using it as my own bed as my mattress doesn’t even come close to being as supportive.
I would recommend the Barney Bed to everyone. The greatest investment I’ve made for my dogs… and for me.
