My Father’s funeral took place at Barnby moor crematorium. I could not have asked for a more peaceful and beautiful setting. The chapel was perfect for are needs , car parking was ample, and the location felt very personal. All staff very friendly and professional

Perfect surroundings

Barnby Moor crematorium is situated in a beautiful and peaceful setting. Although the planting is young it’s obvious it’s going to be lovely. The interior is spacious and distancing wasn’t a problem. The furnishings are tasteful and the seating very comfortable. 2 huge video screens are helpful and the sound system is good. The extensive car park was a bonus and enabled us to be able to chat to mourners before they left. At no point did we feel pressured into leaving immediately. A very respectful, peaceful venue.

I would have no hesitation in highly recommending this most professional funeral organisation everything was carried out with a high level of care and thought, exceptional standard of service and facility. The chapel is beautiful with large windows over looking the picturesque, tranquil grounds with 2 screens showing our chosen photo of my husband.

The service was streamed to friends and family and can be downloaded so we would be able to cherish the memory forever

It was the most wonderful goodbye for my husband that will remain in the memory of the family for years to come.

A special thankyou to Graham Hall and his team for his kindness and personal touch they did a wonderful job and guided us to make the right decisions for a lovely service and also a special thankyou to Revd Mark Cantrell who gave such a fittingly dignified tribute to my husband who was loved by so many.

Doesn’t look like a crematorium, the grounds are stunning, peaceful, well maintained.
Barnby moor is just simply a beautiful place to say good bye to loved ones. I’m considering having a plot there as I believe it would be a nice place to go to remember loved ones .

Absolutely first class service extended professionally with great dignity and consideration . Excellent staff offering great respect, who had thought to add extra personal touches for the ceremony, not expected by the family. The premises are superb as are the grounds and setting. Veterans on the day were accomodated and welcomed in , within the rules, as was an important live bugler who was also allowed.
This modern building has been well thought out , with the catafalque feeling somehow integral rather than distanced which is sadly the case in many alternative venues.
We felt that a great effort had been made and executed to perfection on the day for which we are extremely grateful.

The staff were all kind and respectful. The outside is well-maintained, with plenty of room to park and clean toilet facilities. Inside is also clean and comfortable; the chapel felt much more personal than any crematorium I have been to.

We have nothing but praise for Barnby Moor Crematorium they did a wonderful job for us and made this day very special.

I could not be more impressed with the service we received. A beautiful setting, plenty of space and unhurried. Extremely kind and professional staff.

The crematorium is in a wonderful setting. It is very clean, they streamed our service live as well as recording it. We were given a choice of lighting and the staff were extremely helpful.

A truly beautiful setting and thank you to your amazing staff for making a difficult day so beautiful and coming to the rescue to help rescue the balloons for our grandchildren to be able to do the balloon farewell for their beloved great grandad x

We used this facility for a cremation without ceremony and therefore have no physical description of the place to give as we were not present. However, I received a phone call from a staff member notifying me of the return date and time for mums ashes via a named courier which we appreciated. The appointed date arrived and everything happened at the correct time. The ashes were presented in a tactful way.
The arrangements were made through a local funeral director on our behalf.

Attended a funeral service at Barnby Moor Crematorium recently. The service was lovely and it was enhanced by us being able to see lovely photographs of the deceased on the screens. The atmosphere is very serene and I thought it was probably the best service of its kind that I have been to. Well done Memoria.
