This is the second time I have used their service, and I selected a different car this time for a bit of variety. I can’t complain everything about this company has been great.. easy booking, good insurance cover and very friendly and professional service. At this point, I can’t recommend them enough. 👍😃

Good Value
Tidy, reliable car, and good service. Good value. Air port pick up was extremely busy so had to redo my reservation confirmation thingy which I'd already completed online days earlier to supposedly make it quicker (fun fact - it didn't). Had to get a puncture repaired and the customer service for that was excellent.

Fantastic value and easy process
Fantastic value. Easy process. Very friendly and helpful staff. The best location at Hobart Airport for pickup and dropoff. The car was a little older than usual rental cars, but it ran perfectly without a hiccup.

Change in booking with no notice
We had a 3 tonne truck booked and when we went to collect was told they had down grounded us to a small 1 tonne truck. we booked the big one as had to collect a table that would only fit in bigger van. when asked why they said they called and let us know however no call or log in phone from them. Will never use this company again. We had hired numerous vehicles prior and never had an issue. Very disappointing

Great experience with Bargain Car Rentals at Hobart Airport. The guy at store was friendly and helpful, and the whole process was quick and easy. The Audi Q5 was clean, comfortable, and great to drive. Highly recommend!

You get what you pay for…
Every thing went well especially pricing, customer representative and pickup/dropoff. However the vehicle needs to be retired as it was old, probably had a major accident and fixed up and over 100,000 kms on the clock. It had a very noisy engine and the steering was odd at low speed. Please be aware what you are actually hiring, if you decide to use Bargain.

This has been a big year for us with moving vehicles out of our fleet once they have hit the 3 year since manufacture mark and the KM limits we do aim to impose on our vehicles.
I do apologise that it sounds like you have had a vehicle that has not been kept up to standard and swapped out of our fleet as yet, feedback is always passed along to our internal team.

Not impressed with self service check…
Not impressed with self service check in. Only one young lady on the counter and very busy. Still had to see the young lady to finalise the check in and get the keys.
Another person on the desk when you would have been aware that there were a lot of pick ups at the same time.
Car drove well.

We do have the self check in available at some of our depots with the aim of making the collection itself a bit quicker with a seperate line, but this is dependant on the staffing levels available to us, feedback is always passed along to our internal team.
