Disappointing and underwhelming experience

My boyfriend and I attended the Bar Crawl Nation Mimosa Fest in Midtown Atlanta yesterday, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience due to how poorly the event was organized.

The check-in location, Wicked Wolf, got the day off to a bad start. We stood at the bar for over 30 minutes without being served, despite the bartender clearly seeing us multiple times. We were never greeted, acknowledged, or told that she would be with us shortly. A simple acknowledgment would have gone a long way.

While we were waiting, other Mimosa Fest attendees sitting nearby mentioned that they also felt they were being treated differently than regular customers who weren’t participating in the bar crawl, which made the experience even more frustrating.

The event itself also fell well short of expectations. There were only three additional participating locations, and one of them didn’t even seem to know anything about the bar crawl or how it was supposed to work. Overall, the event felt disorganized, poorly coordinated, and not worth the time or money.

We were looking forward to a fun afternoon exploring Midtown, but instead, the lack of organization and poor customer service made it a disappointing experience. I hope the organizers improve communication with participating venues and ensure staff are properly informed before hosting future events.

Paid VIP and was completely unorganized

I attended this bar crawl expecting a well-organized VIP experience, but it was extremely disappointing from start to finish. We paid $75 for VIP tickets, yet many of the participating bars didn’t even seem aware the event was happening. At several stops, staff were confused or completely unprepared, which made the experience feel disorganized and awkward.

On top of that, the treatment at multiple locations was poor. Instead of feeling like VIP guests, we felt like an inconvenience. There were little to no clear perks, and whatever “VIP” benefits were promised were either not honored or not communicated to the venues.

For the price, I expected coordination, professionalism, and at the very least basic communication between organizers and participating bars. Unfortunately, this event fell far short. I would not recommend this crawl to others unless significant improvements are made.

Dissatisfied Customer

I purchased 4 tickets for the Halloween Bar Crawl that was supposed to take place on Nov 1st in Cleveland, OH. I received an email on Oct 27th stating that the Bar Crawl was cancelled and that a refund has already been issued. Another email was sent advising of the cancellation on Oct 31st stating that a full refund has been issued to my account and that it may take up to 10 days to post to my account.

I purchased two tickets on Oct 22, one on Oct 23 and one on Oct 24.

I have yet to receive a refund and I have contacted this company to advise them of this and I provided a copy of the ticket pruchase.

I am very upset and angry as 1. it should not take this long to receive a refund 2. There is no phone number where you can speak with a live representative and I am tired of being told you were issued a refund.

this was an absolute scam

this was an absolute scam. nothing about it matched the advertising. you’re basically paying for the privilege of listening to early-2000s music and buying slightly discounted drinks you could get anyway. no live djs, no atmosphere, no organization. the ‘prizes’ were laughable, cheap beads and slap bracelets like a dollar store grab bag. half the bars didn’t even know the crawl was happening, and the ones that did had better deals without the ticket. a complete waste of money and time. they should be embarrassed to even run something this low-effort and misleading.

Very disappointed

We’ve participated in several of these events in the past, but unfortunately, this one missed the mark completely and left us feeling like it wasn’t worth the money.

At Inner Circle Vodka, the food was watery and bland, and the red-headed bartender was extremely rude—she even tried to charge us double. That set a bad tone from the start.

The following stops were no better. Staff complained openly about being part of the event, said they were understaffed, and generally made us feel like an inconvenience. This isn’t the kind of experience we paid for.

One of the most frustrating parts was the taco situation. We were supposed to get a taco at The Hunt Club, but didn’t find out until after we had paid to make our way to a further off location that the taco was available elsewhere. Poor communication and planning all around. It felt disorganized, like the crawl was just thrown together last minute.

The last stop at Bourbon Street didn’t make sense logistically, and we were rudely told to go outside to get our taco—again, not a warm or welcoming vibe.

On top of that, the so-called “professional photos” were lacking. Only about 60 photos were posted, despite the fact that there were clearly way more people involved.

We’ve enjoyed past bar crawls, but this one was a huge disappointment. We won’t be returning. These events should be fun and organized, and participants should get what they paid for—this time, we didn’t.

I signed up for the tacos and…

I signed up for the tacos and margaritas bar crawl. I opted for the VIP ticket . Standard ticket was 25 and VIP was 50. First off the margarita drinks were watered down and you could not taste any tequila at the first main stop . So we got three drinks with VIPat this stop and two tacos. The tacos were great but the drinks sucked . And you could not leave with any of your drinks . The rest of the stops were free taco. Hennessy bar has a shot version of a taco. Basically was just cut up feted out chicken breast . No topping or sauce . She has tapatio. Really? The next stop was Glitter gulch. They were great, they had the free taco which was good and a great 5 dollar margarita. Nacho daddy’s taco was good as well. Last stop was La Casa Rosa .. this place was such bullshit . You say you’re part of the bar crawl but you had no seating for anyone. They ended plus having a private event so all the seats were not available and you could only stand near the bar and get food . They kept running out of food. What bullshit . Now the app stopped working and we couldn’t cash in on rewards or tacos that we were able to get cuz we had VIP. So my question is also… if you paid for standard , you got nothing at all. No free tacos or margaritas . So then what is the 25 dollars pay for? This bullshit app that didn’t work for android phones at all. Really . I won’t ever do anything again with bar crawl nation. What a waste of money . And then the app was not working . The app just shut down and said it was closed . I have a picture of it but can’t show it here .Dont do it !!!!
