I found the process to be straightforward. I have never purchased barcodes before and didn't know what to expect. They answered my questions promptly whe i queried te codes given for my counry.

I purchased barcodes from this service only to find out they are completely useless on Amazon. As soon as I tried to list my products, I received the infamous error 8572 – which means you're using EAN/UPC/JAN/ISBN or ASIN codes that do not match the product you’re trying to list.

I attempted to contact their customer support, but got no response at all. Not surprising, perhaps, given what’s stated in their Terms and Conditions: they explicitly mention that no refunds are given if Amazon rejects the codes. That clause alone should raise a red flag — clearly this happens often enough that they felt the need to legally protect themselves against it.

In my opinion, if your business is solely selling barcodes, then you should ensure they actually work on major platforms like Amazon. Otherwise, customers are just paying for something that gets thrown in the trash the moment it’s used. At the very least, they should refund rejected codes.

Extremely disappointing experience. I do not recommend this service.

The codes are, effectively, useless on Amazon.

Although BarCodesTalk.com will kindly try to work with you via email through a seemingly endless series of emails, questions, and screenshots, the end result is essentially the same: (1) Amazon won't allow it, (2) Amazon allows it but requires you to use whatever random brand name was originally associated with the bar code, or (3) the process goes into circles until someone involved cries mercy and gives up first.

Whether this is primarily a problem of Amazon or BarCodesTalk is unclear, but either way it's no where clear on the BardCodesTalk website that using their UPC codes on Amazon is a hellish time-sucking experience. Even were I to eventually be successful selling my single product on Amazon using one of these UPC codes, the whole process takes so long for one single product I still could not recommend it as an effective use of precious time.

I needed a bunch of barcodes very quickly and Bar Codes Talk emailed them 30 seconds after purchase. Very impressed with their service. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing UPC.

I don't have a need for many Barcodes, so when I did need them for a wine project, I "Googled" and was appalled by GS1 charging $30 per barcode and $250 for 10. I needed 3 and found BARCODESTALK.COM had a deal for $10 for 5 Barcodes. So I am happy, and letting you know how happy I am. That's all for now!
