It has been years since I last wore espadrilles, but when I saw the Handmade Barcelona designs I just couldn't resist! I now have 3 stunning pairs of handmade espadrilles and I am absolutely in love with them! The shipping was really fast and they arrived quickly despite the current situation with the pandemic. The quality is amazing and Luis is really helpful, he makes sure all his clients have the best experience. I will definitely order more shoes in the near future. The shoes arrived to California quickly and were perfect. Comfortable, well made and pretty color. My daughter loves them.

Luis and Kathe hosted a 'virtual' corporate event for us. Their enthusiasm, professionalism and passion for the espadrilles was contagious. They took us through the history of the shoes, the story behind the 6 different ways to tie them. We had the 'premium' workshop package, and they custom designed the most beautiful espadrilles for all the women who attended. Super fun online event, such a creative experience and I really learned a lot not just about the Espadrille but about Catalan culture, Basque history, regional fashion and I was super entertained! My shoes were delivered in record time, and I love them. The level of service was so personalized and friendly I was really surprised and grateful. I'll definitely be recommending the HandMade store in Barcelona to traveling friends, and look forward to going there in person some post-global pandemic day.
