ETA: Received my items and they were damaged. The seller packaged the items very well but all packaging - including the necessary cushioning - were removed by Taobao Age. If you don't want your items to be bent and warped, then I suggest you look elsewhere for a proxy.

My order was a disaster, first of all, they said that I had to pay USD 80+ which I paid via Amazon giftcards. But hours later they said that there was a calculation mistake and I paid the $11 extra (no big deal) mistakes happen. BUT when it came to the 2nd payment for the international postage, it happened again! this time it was a $3 mistake. They gave me the same excuse. That is not an issue if you are in US, but I am living in Australia, and Amazon US giftcards are not cheap. I either had to pay the extravagant Amazon US exchange rate or the expensive conversion rate my bank charges me. Not to mention the hassle of doing 4 payments instead of 2.
I am not sure why they made so many mistakes with my order. All I had was a $8 credit in my account as a "goodwill" gesture, but seriously what's the point?

I am very happy with Taobao Age and their service. Their 5% commission is reasonable and their exchange rate to US$ is fair. They respond quickly to messages and the whole thing is conducted on their secure website. The process is quick, simple and transparent. Their preferred method of payment is by Amazon Gift Certificates so you need to have an Amazon account. After purchase of the Gift Certificate you advise them of the certificate number and they claim it. This reduces additional costs both for them and for you.

Don't order with Taobao Age, I tried ordering a very light package (under 400g) and they overcharged me for postage worth over 1kg. Not only that but when I found out that the postage was going to be so ridiculously high, I ordered a return and they only refund you half. Waste of money going with this company, I would stay away and use Superbuy.

Hi have just recently used their services and I couldn't be more happy! It's the first time I've ordered from Taobao but found it quite overwhelming, due to the language barrier, but with the help of Taobaoage everything went smoothly. They were always updating me of my order and answered the hundred questions I had with patient and understanding. Would definitely recommend TaobaoAge if you are thinking of purchasing through Taobao - best thing was the fact that they also offered Amazon as a way of payment which I found to be hassle free.
