BAM Clothing Reviews 

I have shopped at BAM since they first started nearly two decades ago.
I have always loved the brand and bought many items over the years and introduced my family to the brand also.
I have never had any complaints but recently I ordered another gathered hem top.
I already have 8 at home so I know the quality well and what to expect.
The new navy blue one I received was so thin you could 'shoot peas through it' as the saying goes.
I contacted BAM to ask why and they were not that helpful saying they hadn't changed their manufacturing spec and there was no point in them contacting their product team as nothing had changed. I felt completely unheard.

What I then did was to get all my other gathered hem tops out and check the labels. The common denominator was that they were all manufactured in Turkey, the new one was manufactured in China.
I fed this back to the BAM customer services.

After a couple of email exchanges they kindly agreed to send me a replacement to see if it was any better.
It arrived very quickly but was identical to the poor quality thin one I had already received. I returned it.

The surprise was being told that their manufacturing facility in China was definitely producing to their specifications so basically there was no further action needed.
If that was my business I would want to take it further as this is likely to lose customers, even very loyal ones like me. But this hands off disinterested response was rather alarming.

In conclusion BAM have either reduced their manufacturing specification to save money. Not good.
Or the message hasn't got through to the decision makers and they have not actually compared the quality of their stock from Turkey against that from China.

Either way, I don't want a flimsy top lacking in any substance and longevity unlike all my other ones.

BAM please train your Customer service team to think outside the box and identify when a good customer has a valid point that should be investigated properly.
I am really unsure if I will buy again as a result as I can't bank on my items coming from the better manufacturing facility in Turkey.

Excellent products, so cozy and soft! I made two orders one was perfect the other too big and I was refunded very quickly which is unusual at the moment with companies hanging on to your money! Very happy all round I would highly recommend.

I love these clothes so much. I tell everyone about how amazing bamboo is, they're all sick of me going on about it. I cycle everywhere, do an average of 150km a week and I know the best clothing to wear to wick away sweat and keep me warm and dry is bamboo. BAM is fab because they have super stylish clothes and I love their ethos. I'm also autistic and sensitive to uncomfortable clothing and fabrics but everything from BAM I've kept as its so comfortable. The staff are always super helpful if you contact them too.

Ordered 2 pairs of running socks. 1 pair had a hole and both were paper thin. Would not last long as a running socks. And very expensive.

Beautiful quality clothing which is also reasonably priced. Gorgeous colours and excellent fit. Easy, fuss-free returns or exchanges facilitate finding the best sizing.
Will be back again and again. Thank you!

Ordered 3 items, all size M. I received all 3 items, but one was size L. It should not be that difficult to send the right size.

I have previously ordered a 'Horizon Luxe Long Sleeve Top' which I absolutely loved. The quality was amazing so I thought I'd found my new favourite top and bought another in a different colour. To my disappointment this second top was of much lower quality and did not feel special like the first I bought. The inconsistency is a big shame, just as I thought I was finding my new favourite brand!

Love the easy on line shopping service is great. The fabrics are lovely on the skin. One issue I purchase the women’s basic vests over a number of years the most recent purchase was a rose coloured not made in Turkey like my others but in China. The fit and shaping around the arms and neckline not at good. Would not buy again if other vests made this way.

Amazing leggings - have lasted a long time! And so great that it is made of bamboo. Need more natural fabrics!!

Really disappointed with the recent order. It took such a long time to receive it I’d nearly forgotten I’d ordered. The quality of the leggings Mallea range are awful. When they stretch the pattern density is lost and I have to keep hitching them up. Embarrassing when at yoga and it’s not that they are too big. Not a patch on the enduro ones that I have. It’s making me rethink the brand to be honest, the quality has dropped.

Spent a long time choosing a sustainable activewear brand and was not disappointed when the post arrived. The two tops, socks and leggings I bought are a fabulous cut, lovely fabric and make me feel great. Sure, it took a week for them to arrive - which feels long these days but probably shouldn't - but customer service did the right thing and emailed (without prompting) to explain dispatch was running slow due to unexpected large volumes and would be sent asap. Not a huge deal and well handled by what I'm sure is a relatively small team. Already planning my next purchase!

Various tee shirts ordered for my son in the BAM sale, all took over a week and half to be received and during this time he left the country. All had to be returned where BAM communication was very poor despite two emails; no confirmation that items had been received. Just called to ask about refund and met with aggression and excuses, never "their" fault is the line all blamed on the sale. First time to order with BAM, not a good experience, can they actually cope with the orders one asks!

I used to like this company but i’ve found recently that deliveries take a long time and there are no updates when you return items. I’m wondering whether they don’t have the capacity for the amount of orders they have and are not employing enough staff to save on costs. A general trend of customer services going downhill at many companies.

UPDATE: Yet another product launch that excludes not only "plus-size" people, but average people too! The "L" size is only a UK size 14! Whereas the average woman's dress size in the UK is a size 16 to 18. Almost half of British women are considered "plus-size" (size 18 and above). It's time you addressed this. I have been buying your socks for years but this is really leaving a bad taste in my mouth. I'm a UK size 18 but I am also a very active person. It's not like I'm some horrible slob that will make your clothes look bad. But this is how your sizing policy is making me feel. I simply don't want to buy anything from a brand that only provides a very limited range that I can actually enjoy.
When I raised this before, the reply from BAM was something along the lines that while you would "love" to address all your customers' feedback and you have passed the issue on to your production team, you can't commit to this changing anytime soon (the last part is paraphrased).

Oh dear. Ive loved this company for years and always had great service but when the sales come around it all falls down. Ive waited patiently for 7 days, emailed customer service yesterday and was told I would get a notification of delivery within 24hrs....no...

Please dont over promise and under deliver. Ive been in customer service most of my life and its not useful

No issues with this company. Lovely, comfy clothes. No complaints from me

Bam clothing is so nice - unlike most sustainable workout clothes I've tried before - they are tight fitting and keep their shape. They are also so well priced. So happy I've found this company!

Purchase quite frequently from BAM & do like there clothing, but recently purchased a couple of gym tops; have washed one( 30 degrees as stated) & has shrunk quite a lot! Disappointed as expected better quality for the price!

Strangely though, when I logged into trust pilot to rate this annoying issue, at the bottom of the review page are their contact details. Difficult to find on their website but so easy on a review site. How ironic!

I ordered a few items from BAM (crop tops, leggings and wide leg yoga pants) and I'm so impressed with the quality! Everything is soft, comfortable and made from high-quality, sustainable and/or recycled materials. Customer service and communication was also great - I had to swap a couple of items and refunds were processed promptly (without me having to chase). Would definitely recommend :)
