They are not reliable, I do not recommend them.
After an experience with the company Balneomedica, I am deeply disappointed with their services and their total lack of respect for customers.
On 15.06.2023, I booked a 5-night stay at Hotel Aluniș in Sovata for 10.09.2023, using the Balneomedica website. We paid the total amount of 3468 as requested.
Just 5 days before going on holiday, I received an email from Balneomedica saying that our booking had been cancelled, but without any explanation or reason. We have tried to contact them numerous times but have not received any clear answer or detail as to the reason for the cancellation.
The Balneomedica company issued us refund invoices due until 20.09.2023, leaving us in a state of total uncertainty. Only after contacting Hotel Aluniș Sovata directly did I find out that the reservation was still valid, but that the intermediary company, Balneomedica, had not paid the amount necessary to confirm it. We were asked to pay the amount for the stay again and wait for the reimbursement from Balneomedica according to their invoices and promises.
However, even after the due date on 09/21/2023, I have not received the money back. Balneomedica communicated that they encountered difficulties and postponed the payment deadline until 05.10.2023.
Our experience with Balneomedica was frustrating and disappointing. Not only did they cancel our reservation for no clear reason, but they made a mockery of their refund promises. This firm seems to have no respect for customers and is unwilling to take responsibility for their mistakes.
I am sorry to have to write such a review, but I hope this experience will serve as a warning to other consumers. I highly recommend that you think twice before making any booking or transaction with Balneomedica. Our experience was really disappointing and we don't want others to go through the same unpleasant situation.
