Good resort in a good location
The Bali Mandira is a good resort in a good location facing the beach. It does not have a private beach, but I do not know of any resort along the Legian - Kuta strip that does. It is after all a public beach. It is also a very short stroll to both Seminyak or down to Legian to the new BeachWalk complex with all the restaurants along Jl Pantai Kuta. Also down the road from Jl Padma where you have Posers restaurants & Garlic lane are very close by as well. You have plenty of mini marts to buy water just outside the resort about 2 min walk.
The resort grounds are lovely with well kept gardens. The pool is under renovation as is the reception area. There is a temporary pool with a smaller temp. children's pool which is nicely done, surrounded by wooden decking & with plenty of umbrellas, shady trees, lounge chairs & even a bale with triangular pillows to lay on. The infinity pool & spa pool is still open for adults only.
