Baker Tom’s story began in a simple kitchen in the heart of Cornwall. Tom baked his first couple of loaves of homemade bread and with them cycled to his local farm shop. They sold out. Soon Tom was delivering loaves every day and his bread became the talk of the town. Baker Tom’s was born! Today we have four shops and our products are available wholesale throughout Cornwall, Devon, and the South West. True to the day he started, Tom’s ethos remains the same; to bake delicious, wholesome bread, crafted by hand and delivered daily.

Great quality goods & fantastic customer service

The staff in Falmouth and Penzance are always so helpful and friendly. I love the short dates on items as it indicates no unnatural chemicals are used just proper ingredients and most items can be frozen. The quality of the baked goods is outstanding and worth every penny. The online experience is also great and thought it was a really nice touch to get a personalised email letting me know my goods were ready for collection. Thank you Baker Toms you’re doing a great job in what must be difficult times.

Not the best experience.

Was pulled in by the website offering stollen for free, ordered a couple more items so wasn't totally taking advantage. Got a phone call the following day to say sorry, mistake, stollen actually costs £13. Decided to pay up. On day of arrival, the sea salt and herb tear-and-share bread was best before that very day, which was disappointing, and be aware that it is really, really salty, I couldn't eat it. The stollen is lovely but for a Christmas item was disappointed that it was best before December 22. Will not be using again.

I am sure that this bread is delicious…but...

I am sure that this bread is delicious if purchased fresh from the bakery. However, if you are tempted to order online be aware that the product may arrive on the same day as the best before date (as ours did). OK bread does have a limited lifespan but why buy a best before loaf when you can buy a fresh one from a local baker?
