Safe, Secure, Fast, and Friendly!
We used Bagbee for the first time on our most recent annual trip to Iceland, and I HIGHLY recommend this service! It allows you to securely check in your luggage for your flight (right from your accommodation) so you can enjoy your last day of vacation without dragging your bags around.
This is especially valuable if you don’t have a rental car, dislike hauling luggage through the city, or want to squeeze in some last-minute activities before heading to the airport.
Our experience (flying from Keflavík to Seattle via Icelandair):
We created an account and followed the simple instructions on Bagbee’s website: selected a pickup time window, entered the number of bags, and provided our travel details. On the morning of our departure, we were able to track our driver in real time on a map during the scheduled window.
A friendly driver arrived in a clearly marked Bagbee van, equipped with an airport-connected bag check-in device and a scale. He weighed and tagged our luggage on the spot using official airline tags, handed us receipts, and (if I recall correctly) added a type of security seal to the bags. We then received updates, and even photos, of our bags throughout the process, all the way until they were checked in.
When we arrived at Keflavík Airport, we simply went through security and boarded our flight. No lines. No stress.
The entire process was simple, fast, efficient, and secure. It gave us a few extra stress-free hours to enjoy our last day in Iceland without worrying about storing or hauling our luggage, or finding a hotel or Flybus service to babysit it.

Very convinient that you can choose the time when your bags will be picked up, and a tracking letting you know about where the driver is, and where your bags are. I came to Keflavik with empty hands and went directly to the security check.

Excellent service
Excellent service! We had a stopover in Iceland on our trip from New York to London and back. In Iceland we left some of the luggage we only needed in Iceland with BagBee. They stored it for us for a few days and then, delivered to our airline and check-ed them on our flight to our final destination. We were very happy with the customer service and using the service took a lot if stress off us - easing our mind and yes…..our bags made it to our final destination. Thank you!
