Never get my money back and filed bankruptcy??

Do not use this website. Its a scam. i pre-ordered things, I’ve been waiting for it over a year. Finally, I wanted to cancel and get a refund, they do not want to issue the refund. They are ignoring my request??? Terrible shop, terrible customer service, they are basically thiefs, take your money and ignore you. DO NOT USE IT

Finally I decided to cancel and ask for a refund, the refund process takes several months!!
I think their strategy is that people will forget so they can keep the money. This is insane. DO NOT USE THIS WEBSTORE TO PRE-ORDER

waited 1 year for a preorder. after cancelling they denied to refund my money and sent me my order partially which I did not even want anymore. The money for the pops I did not receive was never refunded. I have been waiting for almost half a year now for the refund. Did not know such a sad company would scam customers.

I ordered pops for over 300€+ as a pre order.

After 2 years I cancel my Order cause they Never delivered them. The customer service reacts with a standard-email to wait but nothing happens

Now I have booked a lawyer to solve it.

I ordered three years ago 2021 for an amount just above the free delivery service. They couldn’t deliver one funko out of three. So I asked my money back, and after countless mails they gave a little of my money back, wich wasn’t the whole amount of the funko i bought. They are claiming that i have to pay for delivery now, for the ones I did receive. That’s just scamming!! Because i ordered with the idea of the whole order delivery!! And they promised time and time that they would deliver but didn’t know when!! That’s false advertising!! Because the site had changed and they don’t sell it anymore!! After 3 years my patience was gone, and now they are scamming me for 7 euro. Just 🤬

I had previously sold part of my funko pops collection, without issues, back when they were called funkopops.nl.

So I thought, I could do that again and contacted them in order to do so. We struck a deal eventually for 2000 euros.

Now everything that could has gone wrong. They check the pops, and all is fine. I wait for my money, last day to be paid as stated in the contract passes. Still no money. All I get via email is to be patient and that I will be paid "soon".

It's now 6 weeks over the date of the contract and I have seen no effort to fix this from them, so at this time I have made an official case with local police, for fraud and theft.

Edit: it is now May 4th and I can report an update to this, that they have finally, after much nagging and legal threats, decided to pay. The payment was on my account over two months after the end of contract date.

Having spoken to former employees, it is clear that the team keeps shrinking, and the workload stays the same for those still there. Which seem to be a clear reason for the delay and the lack of competent communication.
this leads to frustration for the employees as well as the customers I'm sure. But it's not an excuse, but rather an explanation.
at least this case is ended now, but I have seen others who have open issues that are several months old and in some cases even years.

Buyers beware. You might want to take your buisness elsewhere, unless they change their ways.

Absolutely terrible. Do not recommend. Never received a refund, never received my orders either.

Someone started a Facebook group for those who were scammed.
Join it. Just look up "scammed back to the toys" or "back to the toys gedupeerde" and you'll find it. Something ought to be done.

What a hopeless company! After waiting almost 3 years for a preorder, I was done. All orders cancelled. And now after 3 months no money back. All they can say is that it is very busy and it may take longer. Apparently a lot of customers want their money back and I completely understand that! I'm so done with this! Never buy here again and I advise everyone not to buy anything here, just a big disappointment.

UPDATE!

It is now April 5 and I still have not received my 150 euros from my canceled orders! We're talking about a 4 month wait! DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING HERE OR BUY ANYTHING IN THE STORE. Such stores should not exist. It is deeply sad and many of us will probably never see our money again. Never had such a bad experience with a store!

After +TWO YEARS of waiting on my order and an absurd amount of emailing back and forth i decided to ask for a refund. TWO months later and i still have not received ANYTHING!!! At this point i don’t even get responses back anymore, calling the store is no option!! Seeing now that so many people have the same issue with this store i suggest you go somewhere else!! THIS STORE SCAMS/STEALS FROM PEOPLE!!!

i ordered my funko pop in december ‘21
we’re april ‘24 i have not received my funko pop nor a refund!!!

Think twice before buying here. I have never received the funkos I ordered and after 2 months trying to get a refund I am still waiting! Very bad customer service.

about 5 months ago i decided to cancel 2 orders because the pops were already available in only stores for months.
4 email and promises from them that my money will be refunded in 2 weeks which ofcourse didnt happen. They said it will soon be refunded but its now another month later. Im not the only one it seems

I've pre-ordered a few funko pops months ago, the website kept on pushing the date of release farther away, even though the funkos I've ordered are available on other websites for months now. Asked them for a refund and got offered to either look for other figures on their website or get a voucher. I declined both and asked for a proper refund. They told me almost a month ago that it'll take 14 days to reissue my refund. I've been contacting them about my refund but I'm not getting any replies. I will never order something here again.

Edit: it's been two months and I still haven't received my money. All they keep saying is that they're extremely busy. Every new mail I send them is being ignored completely.

I do not recommend anyone to buy from this store.
It is by far the worst store to buy Funko pops from. They never meet the scheduled dates and you can go for years without receiving your orders while they have your money. When you want to cancel your order because you've grown tired of waiting, you won't receive a refund but store credit instead.
The best part is that they will tell you that it's not their fault but the suppliers' fault and they have no influence on the delays.

Worst ever... no delivery on pre-order (ordered in June 2023), funkos that are available even on the second hand market since like March 2023 still not in stock???? No money back, some bullsh*t to get other pops... I dont want other pops! I order specific series for a reason... NEVER order here, starts to feel like serious scamming as they ignore all laws...

It's astonishing how a web shop with actual stores gets away with this, but the sad reality is that they do. I ordered a few Funko Pops in October 2022. The dates of the pre-orders kept delaying and while I can understand this, after half a year and seeing the same Funko Pops sold at different shops I decided to ask about it. They come up with different excuses every time why it's delayed. I even checked the website and eventually the Funko Pops I ordered weren't even listed on the website anymore. What does this mean? That they will never arrive and since it’s been so long they hope I have forgotten about it? After a year I contacted them for a cancellation. They tried to give me store credit but I insisted to get my money back. They finally gave in and in the beginning of December of 2023 they promised me I would have my money back within two weeks. Well, I didn’t and I got excuse after excuse why this hasn’t happened yet. It’s now almost four months later and I emailed them again. They told me they would eventually get to it and told me to not contact them again.
It’s safe to say I don’t think I will ever get my money back.

Don't pre-order or buy anything from this site. I placed an order including 1 pre-order from this site as a gift for Sinterklaas on 20 October.

Halfway December I asked the shop to cancel the order, because the gifts are already late for the intended purpose. Instead of canceling the full order, they send out part of my order anyway, even though I said twice that that I just wanted my order canceled.

The pre-order part of my order never got sent to me and the money was never refunded. I've contacted the shop multiple times already, but I always get a different excuse. The reality is however that I've been waiting for over 2 months to get my money back from this dishonest webshop.

5 months ago I pre ordered 2 funko pops. still to this day I have not received the item.. while other stores are selling them like crazy! I asked for a refund but they keep deflecting! I am totally fed up and this 👌🏻 close to getting customer protection authorities involved.

Update: They finally said they would refund on 20 feb… 14 workdays. nothing has been received on my end yet.

After of the long wait of more than a year I decided to cancel some orders. Refund policy is there but is not being applied. Worst company I ever worked with pre order items. I am still waiting for a refund after 2 months
