Ordered a HP Intel Core i5, it arrived 3 days in advance.
I was scared at first when the screen started flickering at the top and didn't respond, neither was it booting any further. Already had my camera set to record it. But after waiting a little while and letting the pc warm up inside (after a trip in the cold weather), the screen showed everything I needed to see. And it worked like a charm! The only thing missing in my package was a little note of some sorts, which could've warned me for this (possibly) to happen.
Anyhow.. I just installed all of the updates, set up my preferences and will be working from this (re)new(ed) pc. I'm very happy with my order! :)

I recently bought an iPhone 14 Plus from back market, in good condition with a new battery. The phone arrived and I noticed the battery was draining quite quickly, but settings showed the battery health was at 100%. I wasn’t convinced so I plugged the iPhone into my Mac and check the battery using 3 different apps. All the apps showed the battery had never been replaced, and that it was on only 85% battery health with 535 charging cycles on it. Truly disgraceful, avoid buying from here. They’re literally selling you heavily used products for ridiculous prices

Bought an ipad pro 11 inch 2021 supposed to be « like new ». The device that arrived had scratches everywhere on the screen. I give 2: stars though because it was fairly easy to return the item.

It almost feels like a scam and although their customer service is responsive, it feels like talking to a bot that struggles to understand what's happening and that is unable to help properly.

We ordered two identical iPads to the same address through a business and personal BackMarket account. Only one got delivered, and they kept saying we got both, although they were giving us the same tracking number and iPad serial number - clearly a mistake. It took way too much time for their support to understand this very simple issue, and then they refunded the other account than requested. Their solution is now to return this iPad and reorder the exact same one again. This doesn't seem sustainable nor customer friendly and has been a massive waste of my time. I will go back to using ReBuy from now on.u

Ordered a samsung S21 with galaxy buds 2, they arrived fine and looked good. However, phone turns out to be from a foreign (non-eu) country, so the mobile data does not work. Customer service is terribly lacking, sending only pre-written, standard messages and taking forever to reply. Decided to send the phone back and will never buy from them again despite the products arriving and looking fine.

I like the prices and selling site, but the aftercare can be more efficient

In September 2024 I bought a refurbished phone, where it turned out that the battery was bad when I started using it. To this day, Backmarket has not made sure that I get a new phone, first I have to return this phone and then I can wait 10 days until I get a new one. While the problem is on their side, they deliver a bad phone. Never, ever buy a product via Backmarket.

Unfortunarly another good company going to waste because they forget that whithout satisfied customers they are not going to make it.
They include substandard providers into their ring of refurbishers and do not care if the customer gets less then promised.Do not fall for the 'you get what´s in the box´.
I ordered a samsung galaxy tab active 3 which was standardly sold with an IP68 rated S-pen stylus.
The seller Arisphone did not sent a working S-pen,but a crummy Chineese fake stylus which did not function as the original S-pen.After my complaint Backmarket blames the seller and the seller indirectly tells me they always sent it like this.So basicly they are making a statement that they are selling an incomplete not functioning product.After several promossed to rectify the problem Backmarket is siding with the seller,now all of a sudden it seems fifficult to sent me my return posting information.
I have been loosing more than 2 weeks over this,and in the meantime the company still has my money.Unfortunately I can not recommend doing business with Backmarket.Think twice and beware.It all looks nice on the website,untill you encounter a problem,then Backmarket utterly failes in customer support.
Of course unfortunate things can happen; but unfortunately Backmarket does not know how to resolve the issues.
