While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Backerkit just facilitates increasing…

Backerkit just facilitates increasing your pledge or adding a late pledge to various crowd-funding projects.
And they do this very well.

They have nothing to do with setting shipping fees or actually sending your pledges, so any "review" (most of the 1-star ones here) can be ignored because the person doing it doesn't know how it works.

Excellent for spam and scams

They front as a company that handles your Kickstarter projects, but they ultimately resell all personal info of your backers for financial profit. Backers receive an infinite stream of new Kickstarter projects (mostly scams themselves) that are all tied to BackerKit. This is what you're signing your backers up for if you use BackerKit. Stay away.

This is where after you get scammed in…

This is where after you get scammed in a innovative crowdfunding platform (indiegogo, kickstarter, gofundme, etc. ) you have to pay for the shipping, taxes, extras etc after waiting 2 years more than was promised by the original campaign for a product that was just bought in bulk in China and rebranded, normally with extremely poor quality and dangerous.

Never again

Backed a cycle light company in USA, took money after approx 10 months, then they close the business 5 months later. They said they would send a equivalent product (which is already in the shops in USA and UK and Amazon) then say they can’t even send that. No comeback from Backerkit. Would never use this again, appalling !!!!!
