Hi there,
Thank you for the feedback on your Lola romper! That is odd that there is a strong odor to your outfit, none of our materials are chemically treated at all, and while each material may have a light scent from production of the material when we receive it from our vendor and the production of the final garment from our seamstress, we hang all outfits in our office so they are airing prior to being steam pressed when shipped. This is not common feedback we have had from other customers of there being a strong odor to their rompers. The Lola romper is made with a more thick lace, and while all polyester laces will smell lightly of the polyester materials they are created from, the thicker style lace may be causing a light scent to remain. The only other thing that we can think of that could possibly be causing an odor to the romper, is the lacquer from the hangers can sometimes have a strong smell when we open a new box, and while we do our best to allow them to air out before packaging them with outfits, this is sometimes unavoidable. Usually taking the outfit off of the hanger and allowing it to air out will alleviate any odor remaining from the hanger lacquer.

The baptismal outfits are beautifully made. I had to personally return both cause they were just to big for my newborn son. But the material they use is top notch you wont be disappointed. I have purchased a baptismal gown for my daughter in the past and I was very pleased with that purchase.
