They were great for our trip to the Maldives. Very fast response times to any questions we had and overall really helpful.

We booked a trip to Niyama Maldives (13 - 20 May 2022) with Awave.

Before deciding to go to Niyama I had close contact with Giulia about what would be the best resort for that season. Giulia responded almost immediately and gave us good and detailled advice about the surf and of course also about the resort.

We had a great trip! The resort was just prefect as well as the service! Unfortunately the waves were a bit choppy and the wind cross/ onshore, but that's mother nature....... (and May is a very difficult month for the Maldives). We still surfed every day in fun size waves and had a great time.

Would definitely recommend Niyama as well as booking with Awave!

We had an amazing experience with Awave travel. They always answered our questions very fast and with very good advice while planning our trip. Besides we were very unlucky to get Covid 4 days before travelling, and Giulia promptly helped us to modify our travel plans without a hassle. We booked with AWAVE Travel for our surf trip to Lohis in the Maldives. James (and his team) were really responsive and took away any concerns we had about such a big, once in a liftime (OK, maybe twice or three times in a lifetime...!) spend.
Questions were dealt with immediately. The resort and travel plans were explained clearly.
Having dealt with alternative providers before, I wouldn't hesitate to use AWAVE Travel again to book a surf trip.

We had a 10 days boat trip in north male. We were 8 friends in the sea farer, which happens to be the best choice for us, it was the perfect trip. The crew was great and we had a great time there. Can’t wait to go back

I run surf coaching trips to perfect, uncrowded waves and I relied on the AWAVE team to deliver for my clients a month long boat trip to the Maldives. We had great waves on an absolutley 5* boat called North Seven which I REALLY recommend you enquire about.

I was dubious at first as a few boats were changed, in for repair but James assured me correctly this was a usual thing and they would endevour to find us the very best replacement (which they did). North Seven was so new we were the third guests but the crew were super experienced and could not have given us a better service. Captain Usmaan, the Chef great food, Hasan and Azim our surf boat operators could not have worked any harder and always had a smile even after the 50th request to speed us to the line up or spend four hours cruising looking or waves.

AWAVE team were always on hand to answer any fears and smooth out any worries. The payment system using Revolut was super easy.

We did have a few hiccups with the local airlines which was resolved and partly our fault (as for a month trip we took alot of surfboards and in some cases were over weight).

Take the fear out of booking and especially group bookings by using the AWAVE team. Justin West Coaching recommended.

Me and My boyfriend had a really good time at Lohi's in Adaaran Select Hudhuranfushi! Perfect organization, very nice activities, grate stuff, beautiful people!
We surfed a lot and we enjoyed very much to spend the time together with the surfers community!

MALDIVES - EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION - KNOWLEDGEABLE - HELPFUL

Organising a surf trip can be time consuming and there are always many moving parts, however James from Awave Travel and his team have been incredible throughout this process. Right from the initial enquiry all the way up to being able to book has been such a smooth process. He was able to give really solid advice around what he would recommend doing due to his experience over there. Always being available to answer any questions or take our calls gave us a lot of comfort knowing that he genuinely cared about our trip and wanted to make sure we had the best experience possible. Recommend 10/10.

Bar none, Giulia was a dream to help us plan our trip to the Maldives. We wonder if she ever sleeps. We travel often and have never had anyone so responsive to every email request. We not only highly recommend her, we plan to use her again!

*Note- we haven't left for our trip yet so I will update once we get back....but, the level of professionalism so far has been remarkable - Immediate responses to any questions I may have, ease of booking, consistent follow up, etc. These guys definitely run a professional operation. If the actual trip goes anything like the booking process, I think I've found my go-to company for all future surf trips.
