AWAKEN POTENTIAL Empowering Legal Professionals & Law Firms to Harness the ADHD edge in law. Founded by a former Law Firm Partner and specialist ADHD coach, Awaken Potential is a niche consultancy dedicated to bridging the gap between elite professional performance and neurodivergent talent. We understand that in the high-stakes legal sector, traditional workplace structures often create an "ADHD Tax"—where exceptional strategic minds are bogged down by executive function challenges. We specialize in eliminating that tax. By combining lived experience with over 15 years of legal experience, we provide: Executive ADHD Coaching: Helping lawyers and leaders optimize focus, streamline communication, and achieve sustainable high performance without burnout. Strategic Firm Consulting: Advising organizations on how to retain neurodivergent talent and leverage the unique "Human + AI" synergy that gives ADHD professionals a competitive edge. Cultural Transformation: Moving beyond compliance toward a culture that recognizes divergent thinking as a critical business asset. At Awaken Potential, we believe the future of law belongs to the firms that know how to harness every ounce of cognitive diversity in their ranks.

Chaos into Stability

I received my ADHD diagnosis in November 2025. I was in an incredibly low place in life with feelings of underachievement, discipline issues, and serious financial instability from impulsive dopamine chasing behaviour. Life was chaotic and deeply unenjoyable, and I had a very bad relationship with myself.

I reached out to Sarah at Awaken Potential partly because of her previous career as a family solicitor, an industry I'm familiar with.

Even though the diagnosis itself provided some releif, Sarah instantly helped me not just accept my ADHD, but help me realise it as something I wouldn't want to live without. The condition can feel very lonely, but hearing Sarah talk about her experiences and thought processes was very comforting.

She gave me really effective, practical solutions for things I'd always struggled with, and helped me turn chaotic work habits into a structured style that I genuinely enjoy now. She also gave me things to think about between sessions that kept the momentum going all week.

Since finishing my 12 weeks with Sarah, I now have savings for the first time in my life, money left over at the end of each month, and I'm performing exceptionally well at work. I'm living a healthier lifestyle, I've learned how to set boundaries, and for the first time I have a fantastic relationship with myself. The idea that this could be achieved in 12 weeks felt unfathomable to me at the start.

I genuinely feel like I can keep building on this work on my own, which is amazing in itself. I also know I can check in with Sarah whenever I need help navigating a new stage of life.

She's got a very happy client for life in me!!

Awakenpotential

Had a really interesting chat with Sarah Gillen at Awakenpotential about ADHD and its effects on the lives of people who have it - from being in school and also dealing with neurodiversity in the workplace.

It is nice to have an open discussion on how I have felt since I can remember and the struggles people go though. I have recently started my ADHD medication and Sarah has been extremely kind in helping me understand how it can make me feel what life will be like whilst taking the meds.

Sarah was a partner in a law firm who has taken a brave step to become an ADHD coach who can navigate not only people who feel like they may be struggling with the corporate world but also teaching firms to better understand their ADHD staff to bring the best out of them.

Anyone who thinks they can benefit from such great help and advice please reach out to Sarah.
