Craig decorated our hall, stairs, landing and living room last year. This year, he did two bedrooms.
His workmanship is of the highest quality with attention to detail, especially preparation. He also communicates well. We would thoroughly recommend him. We have used many decorators over the years and he is definitely the best.

We purchased a period property last year and engaged Craig to redecorate our dining room. We were so impressed with the exceptional standard of workmanship from preparation and painting to spotless clean up that we didn't hesitate to engage him again this year. He has now redecorated the master bedroom and three other bedrooms, all to his exacting standards. This week he will start on the external windows.
Craig is professional, experienced and his knowledge of older properties helped tremendously. It has been a delight to get to know him - a super nice and trustworthy person.

I was very happy with the work Craig Avery undertook. This involved painting a Dining Hall, Stairway and Landing. All made more difficult by a window that went from the ground floor to the second floor ceiling. I found him professional and friendly. He made a great effort to provide a good finish on the walls of my original 1860 house. In addition his clearing up was extensive and included washing the floors!

We called Craig on a recommendation from our son...and we were not disappointed. Craig came to our house and gave us a quote for redecoration of 4 rooms. On commencement of work it was clear from the outset the finished work was going to be of a very high standard...his preparation was so thorough. Needless to say the rooms once completed were amazing...We are so happy with the end result. Craig was always professional and we couldn't recommend him highly enough.

Averys were engaged for external painting of our property. Craig performed a thorough and highly professional job at all stages. The walls. windows, drainpipes etc were thoroughly prepared and the painting well executed. We would have no hesitation in recommending Craig to anyone wanting an excellent job done. I can’t overstate how pleased we are with Craig’s work redecorating our hall/stairs/landing and bathroom. From the start Craig provided sound advice and warned of potential problems. He went outside what I expected, for example removing some ugly central heating pipework that he was able to identify as redundant. We were going to buy wallpaper from John Lewis but Craig suggested an online supplier where the same paper was £10 a roll cheaper. Preparation is key and he does not skimp on this aspect of the job which means that the end-product is excellent. His approach is thoughtful, meticulous and thoroughly professional. We look forward to engaging Craig for future work.

Very clear from the outset what needed doing (I had exterior house and front composite door painted), punctual, tidy and friendly. Delighted with the final finish. Would totally recommend.

Craig (ably supported by Chris) was fantastic from start to finish with a professional and personable approach. He was meticulous in his preparation and worked around our every need with a small child in the house whilst decorating almost every room upstairs and downstairs. We’re already asking him to come back and finish the rooms we didn’t ask him to decorate! His advice and guidance on colours and paints to use were invaluable and he even painted a cabinet at short notice for me. We’re delighted with the outcome and I would highly recommend Craig to anyone!

Craig was very helpful assessing and helping us decide what the best options would be for our hall, stairs and landing. He even steered us toward a slightly different paint which would we were so glad about as it looks brilliant. He was very flexible in sourcing a dado rail of the shape we wanted. The care and time he took was exceptional, preparing the walls beforehand, sanding between coats, touching up tiny areas, and having us inspect everything. He cleaned up all the surfaces very well afterward and even had the floor mopped. We would be happy to recommend to anyone, and will be getting Craig to decorate our lounge soon!

Craig recently decorated our son's bedroom for us which included some plastering work and some repairs to cracked render on the outside of our house (which had been causing some damp patches). He did a fantastic job, flawless really. Besides the room looking fabulous, he was great to work with, on time, communication / keeping us in the loop all the time when we were at work / in the run up to the job.
