Exploding planters

Avergo is an Amazon seller of Bonsai Tree kits, we got one as a birthday gift and following directions, prepped and planted the seeds. About 6 days later we added a tiny bit of water to keep them moist as directed. About 10 minutes later we heard a loud pop, looking over we found shards of the planter and dirt scattered everywhere, we cleaned it up and settled back only to hear another loud pop and the second plater exploding all over the counter and floor. The company did respond, but stated this is the first time they had ever heard of this happening.

On Amazon there are multiple photos with the exact same issue and the exact same response. Not a good look for a company.
