Avaris Odysey ebike

I bought Avaris Odysey from ecobikecompany.com
Delivery took 3 weeks, when it was delivered I assembled it and gears 2;3;4;5 wasn't working, motor power (assistance) 30-40% less powerful than in carrera vengeance bike (I have 3 yeras old vengeance ebike) . When I contacted seller to return the bike, they started demanding to bring bike to qualified ebike mechanics and then they will pay 30£ for repairs. They treated me like I work for them, like I am obligated to cancel my plans my job, and do work for them. Also they sad that I wipl not going to get full refund, because they have ridiculous t&c, like I need to pay for collection, need to pay for restock etc. In the end I got full refund, because I opened a case against them and won. Week after I went to Halfords and bought new model of Carrera Vengeance ebike. So do not recommended Avaris nor ecobikecompany.com

What a bunch of liars, I provided a video, where clearly you can see that gears aren't shifting, also I got witnesses that bike has gear shifting issues. It's a shame I can't upload a vidro here. Pathetic liars, karma will get you.

Assembled incorrectly

Bought my bike on the 27th April. They tried to deliver the next day! Was quite impressed.
Got on the bike once I got it and I had assembled it.
There was some clicking whilst cycling that was a bit infuriating (will get back to this later). There was some difficulty peddling in some gears no matter how much I tuned them or how many guides I followed.
The website advertised the bike would last 40miles~ per a charge. Finding it’s more like 20-25 miles but I understand different conditions will effect that.
Charges pretty quickly.
5 days ago I wouldn’t have recommended the bike due to the infuriating clicking and issues with peddling in some gears.

The back tyre inner tube popped 5 days ago. 1 1/2 months after having the bike. I’m clueless about bikes and didn’t want to break it so took it to a specialist.
He informed me there was a tabbed washer that should have been on the inside of the drop out and was put on the outside instead. This should have caused peddling to be very hard but they didn’t tighten the nut on the wheel to combat this, which meant eventually the wheel would have worked loose and could have been a danger.
Correcting the order of washers and tightening the nut has stopped the clicking I was experiencing. The bike rides smoother than ever and I can finally use all the gears on the bike.

I don’t know if it’s a good or bad thing that the inner tube popped this early. I wouldn’t have found out about the tabbed washer if it hadn’t but you expect when you pay the cost of a cheap car on a bike that it would be assembled correctly and the inner tube last a bit longer.

Riding the bike post being fixed I’d recommend it. It’s a good price compared to many other e-bikes out there.
