One of the worst broker experiences I’ve ever had
They showed incorrect margin requirements on the platform, then changed them, then changed them again. If you size positions based on the margin they display, good luck, because apparently even they don’t know what the correct number is. On top of that, there were unexplained charges, inconsistent account figures, and zero transparency when asking for proper accounting details.
The platform also becomes unreliable exactly when volatility increases, which is the one moment a trading platform should actually work. Spreads suddenly blow out to ridiculous levels, making trading almost impossible, while other brokers somehow manage not to turn every market move into a circus. Support is equally bad: vague answers, evasive explanations, endless delays, and phone support that is basically non-existent.
The overall feeling is simple: confusion, inconsistency, poor execution, poor transparency, and no real accountability when something goes wrong. A broker is supposed to provide stability and trust. AvaTrade did the exact opposite.
I would not trust this company with serious money again.
