Rental station: Athens Airport
Pros: Service was quick and efficient.
Cons: We received an old car with scratches and damages. The car had no screen, no Apple play, no Bluetooth. We had to buy a cellphone holder in order to see the GPS like in the old days.

I booked a car from them on Kos via the discovercars website to be picked up at the airport and dropped off at the port. Their representative was friendly and helpful and the pickup process took about 10 minutes. After checking the car for existing scratches etc he even asked us to take our own photos in case anything was missed on the form so that we wouldn't have any problems on return. The car was clean and fairly new and gave me no problems for the 4 days I had it. On returning the car the process was again quick and straightforward. They even gave us each a bottle of water (after noticing how hot we were) and took us and our luggage to the ferry station - which was lucky as they knew which if the 2 ports our ferry departed from and we would have gone to the wrong one! Would have no hesitation in booking a car from this company again.

very friendly at first, they quickly found the car for us.
after 3 days a warning light came on (new car)
and brought it back to the parking lot had it checked and was told they had it checked with a computer at the dealership or whoever had a car computer,
consequently we were not given another car but the usual one with the light on. At the end of the rental, when I had to fill up again, the gas station attendant told me that the car also runs on LPG.
I start by saying that the manager who gave it to me told me it was only petrol and I didn't notice the LPG in the car.
When I filled up on 100 euros and could very well save.
Having said this to the manager on delivery, he claims that there is no LPG in the car (absurd)
and then calling I don't know who says yes there is LPG but it doesn't start because on the island where it is rented there is only one LPG distributor.
Zero professionalism.

Avance is the BEST car rental company in Santorini. It’s the only one Greek car rental company on the island. You can get there the very good deal; nice, new car and a great service. The guy, named Dimitris( working at the airport) is very kind, helpful and absolutely professional. I really recommend this company. Super fast, no problem and awesome car.
