Buying a car at Auto hero is as easy as shopping groceries, one special thing about Auto hero is they show you any scratches on the car so you buy knowing and all the sales people are so help; me personally I dealt with Casper, thank you so much Casper, you helped me all through the purchase process until my car was dropped at ma home. Thank you Auto hero and I highly recommend.

Great information and accommadating customer service by Riccard. Goes extra mile to assist you. Happy to purchase again in the future. Very easy, fast, efficient and straightforward.

Horrible horrible ad that shows up way too often on YouTube. Please please target your ads! I don’t have a car and will never buy a car.

Also the guy in the ad has a serious speech impediment and should probably consider a career other than speaking on camera since it is outside his skill set.

Sold me a faulty car, forced me to pay for the car to be collected then denied that there was anything wrong with the car despite us having proof. Did not respond to my email requesting they cover my costs. Would stay away from them. I am sure it goes well when they sell a car that is fine but as with my experience I am sure they are terrible whe. Something goes wrong. There are better firms to go to

I've purchased my first car here in Sweden through AutoHero and I must say the buying experience was simply amazing.

Not just that, I could see the cars fits in my budget with require needs, I can see all the pictures closely captured and any imperfections it might have with additional informations.

This gives confidence. I have also received calls from their representative who then help me understanding more about the car and answered any questions I might have.

Over all the experience was very smooth and helpful, I am happy that I bought from AutoHero with confidence.

Everything from first contact to the finalised purchase went perfectly. Customer service has been exceptionally helpful and friendly. I had a minor issue with the car but Autohero handled it perfectly, getting everything sorted, kept me in the loop of the process - honestly couldn’t have been any better. The price of the car was great and I couldn’t be any happier!

Within "10 months" after buying the car, it will already NOT pass inspection, i only drove 328 miles (3280 KM)!

10 months ago i bought a Skoda Fabia 1.0 TSI 2018 from Autohero.
- Sales person M "ensured" me the car was inspected "3" times, and 1 garage was completely "independent".
- Today i received an email back from Autohero, stating that the car was inspected by 3 garages, but all from Autohero (they try to twist it now).
- But why is the recording I have so different from what they state now?

I did a lot to make sure this would be a trustworthy and safe car:
- Looked up the previous amount of owners, historical repair logs, possible accidents, etc.
- I contacted Autohero multiple times and asked "is it a trustworthy car?" > Answer: yes, inspected by 3 garages, 1 independent!
- Went by to do a test drive, brought someone with me with a lot more car knowledge than me.
- I even bought the "3 year extended warranty", to make sure i would get no additonal cost.

Issues:
- 5 months: the brake on the left front wheel suddenly locked > Fixed by garage assigned by Autohero, but no comment on the rust I noticed on the brake disks.
- 8 months: complete heating system started to fail > Visit garage assigned by Autohero:
- "Tried" to charge me 1418 SEK without doing anything, after asking questions they told me they can't even read out the Skoda systems > No fix, no cost.
- Since this resolved itself after the car as standing inside (defrosting?), and Autohero warned me that the cost where for me if nothing was found, we decided to leave it as it is.
- 9 months, when it is below 0 degrees, the trunk button does not always works (it blocks once a while)
- 10 months and severe trust issues with Autohero: did a full service inspection at an official Dealer, result:
- Spark plugs should have been replaced a year ago, had to pay myself because autohero sees this as "service".
- Middle pipes of the exhaust and clamps are completely rusted and leaking > Autohero will not pay as they say it is caused by external factors (within 10 months?)
- All 4 brake discs are completely rusted and will not pass the yearly inspection > Autohero will not pay as they see it as "service" instead of warranty.

Additional cost: 13000 SEK, to make the car pass inspection.
Autohero declines any responsibility, will not let me talk with a manager and even the "3 year extended warranty" counts for nothing.

Update on reply Autohero:
- As mentioned before Autohero twists the story, they promised me before sale that it was inspected 3x, where 1 fully independent.
- Obviously they sold me a car that has parts that are in very bad shape.
- I am currently in the process with a legal company to get this sorted, either with Autohero or via the ARN.
- Obviously their sales now denies what they promised, they withhold me from speaking to a manager, decline off supplying me their inspection logs or even the phone recordings.

Be aware of this company!

I would avoid this dealer. On the phone they give you one price for buying your car. When you go there which is in middle of nowhere they make up some bullshit excuse to reduce the price of your car but don't allow you to test their cars!!! My assessment is that they are not honest and look like trying to abuse sellers.

I recently bought a 10-year-old car from Autohero. The car was in excellent condition overall, but as with any older car, some minor issues came up (with the camera and engine heater). I submitted a claim via Autohero’s website, and their support quickly confirmed I could go to one of their authorized repair shops — and Autohero covered the costs.

The most impressive part came later. After about 7 months (and after my warranty had expired), the turbo suddenly failed. The workshop explained that this problem was due to the previous owner’s driving habits, and it could not have been detected earlier. By that time, I had only driven about 2,500 km with the car.

I contacted Autohero, explained my situation as a Ukrainian war refugee, and how such a huge expense would devastate my family’s budget. To my absolute surprise and gratitude, Autohero decided to cover the entire cost of the repair — even though my warranty had already expired.

That is what I call standing by your word and truly caring about your customers. I will definitely buy all my future cars from Autohero and recommend it to my friends.

I bought a car from Autohero in November 2024. Since the car didn’t come with winter tires, I paid an additional 8,500 SEK for a set of winter tires. Just three months later, while driving at 100 km/h on a main road, the rear right tire suddenly burst. Thankfully, there was no car behind me and I was close to a parking area — but it could have ended in a serious accident.

When we later took the car to an authorized service center, they informed us that the tires were 12 years old — far beyond what is legally and safely acceptable for road use. Autohero insisted the tires were only 8 years old, which is still dangerously old for winter tires and completely unacceptable, especially when I paid for what should have been new ones. They eventually admitted fault and said they would send replacement tires — but the tires they sent were 4 years old. Again, not new.

I also had to replace the brake pads within just one month of purchase — they were completely worn out. I unknowingly drove nearly 1,000 km through snow and storms from Stockholm to Skellefteå with almost no brakes.

This experience was deeply disappointing and dangerous. I absolutely do not recommend Autohero. They sell old, unsafe parts at new prices and then downplay the seriousness when you raise concerns. They deceive people — do not trust them.

I have bought a 2015 Mercedes from Autohero and I have had the car for about a month now. The experience from calling them, to test cars, to signing, to negotiations and garanti events have been great. Quick responses and nice people. I have had 2 garanti requests and they have taken care of it without annoying me with reasons "why its not included" (which a lot of other garanties would do). I have had 2 issues with the car (nothing serious, its an old car so its expected, the car was quite nicely handed over in a good condition), and they graciously took care of it without questions, exactly as they promised me.

I think when it comes to buying cars, its as safe of a choice as it gets! To be honest, for a second hand car, it will always have flaws. They dont hide it, you know what you buy and thats all you need. They even mark the smallest scratches for you, and bigger issues BEFORE you even go to see the car. I consider the car exactly as promised, nothing more than what I was promised, nothing less.
