Avoid, go to a dealer and buy your car.
Everything started when I saw that they are selling the car and delivering in 4 days. It has been 2 weeks for me that I still did not receive the car. Worst part is that they do not even know where the car is =)
When they try to sell you the car everybody speaks perfect english. When they sell you the car noone speak english =). Dont believe the good reviews in this platform.

Everything was really great. Highly recommend… especially the delivery of the car in Alicante. Sergio explained everything and was really helpful.

I purchased the car online, delivered from Madrid to Barcelona and given today as the collection day at 2pm. I took the day off work as I needed to use public transport to collect it. I recieved an email this morning to say the delivery has been cancelled with no explanation.

After leaving 3 messages and emails to get in contact, I finally got a call at 5pm to say that the car delivery has been cancelled due to a delay in the ITV process and they have no idea when the car will be ready. So I have lost a day's pay, I have no car and have lost confidence in the company's ability to deliver.

Always clear feedback and good follow-up on our file. The car was delivered on time. Very friendly contacts and they made a huge effort to speak to us in English.
Only downside: car was not cleaned on the outside, which could have been one more star 😊

Autohero are excellent to deal with from the moment you choose the car you want to delivery your car, documentation, payment and phone conversations are dealt with promptly and effeciently. I would highly recommend them.

My purchase of a car from AUTOHERO was a real pleasure. Their information about the car, including its minor imperfections, was spot on. The staff was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The car was delivered to Valencia from Madrid in perfect condition and on time. The man from whom we collected the car at Autohero Valencia was excellent. The handover was speedy, professional and very courteous. All in all a very satisfactory purchase!

Having previously bought a Nissan Qashqai in 2022 and experiencing excellent service I was shocked and dismayed this year when reserving a vehicle to find they had sold it to someone else over the weekend! I had submitted the paperwork and completed the purchase process awaiting for their call. When I asked why they had sold my reserved car to someone else they told me they had rang me several times and couldn't get hold of me! It was the weekend I had one missed call and called it back with no answer. On the Monday on checking my email Auto hero informed me my car reservation had been cancelled and the car sold to someone else! Terrible behaviour! I can only assume someone had come into the show room over the weekend so they sold it to them. I had sold my car which was collected and I was left without a replacement! I went elsewhere!

Bought a car from AutoHero Madrid recently, and everything went as expected, no surprises, which is exactly what you want when buying a car online. The process was straightforward, and the team was responsive whenever I had a question.

The car arrived on time, in the condition described, and the paperwork was handled efficiently. I appreciated the clear communication and the fact that there was no pressure at any point. Overall, a solid experience, and I’d recommend them if you’re looking for a hassle-free car purchase.

From the start until the pick up Auto Hero helped my through the process. although I don't speak any Spanish they always were patient and helpful.

DO NOT TRUST THEM - I have bought a BMW 5 series end of June, We are now December and i still have not received my registration documents nor the ITV technical inspection document. I mailed them, called them, but they say you have to wait !!! We will send them via the mail. What service is that ? I am so fed up with them and this car and i even can't sell it as i don't have the documents. A Gentle advice, do not buy here.

They responded fast to all my questions regarding the car ,they helped me choose the best plan for it and the process to bring the car from Madrid to Barcelona was smoothly.

Update: I received the paper. Despite many reminders it was sent to the wrong address. Good experience overall still.

It all started very well. Buying the car was easy and the process was smooth. Autohero teams are easy to reach by phone or Whatsapp and they update you regularly.

The delivery was also great. The delivery guy prepared the car carefully and it was spotless.

I had read many bad things so as I kept test driving the car the next days I was expecting to hear some strange noise or discover some defect, but it was all fine.

Everything could have stayed here and I would have happily left 5 stars if not for the small but crucial detail of the car papers.

This seems to be handled by an external gestoría so Autohero cannot give you precise updates. They told me the papers were sent on 17/10/2024 and now, almost 2 months later, I still haven't received anything.

As a result, I will not be able to use the car in a few days when the "permiso provisional de circulación" expires.

This is very disappointing.

You would think that for such important documents they would use registered mail but no... it's in the wind and nobody knows where the papers are.

Not only that, they charge 288,43 euros (excl. VAT) for this so-called "gestión documental" while it's free with most car dealers.

I'd say go for it if you find a nice car with Autohero, but be prepared to waste your time in reminders if something goes wrong (with the paper or anything else).

I've purchased MG ZS car 2022 registration online and collected from Madrid store on 9th October 2024.

On the following day it shows 'Engine fault' sign .... since that date I am constantly on contact with this company to return this car back . Car is placed in workshop for repair and I have to use a rental vehicle.
Unfortunately I have to pass this case to the lawyer for resolve issue. Believe car was not checked properly prior marketing ...
Quality of product is not acceptable ... I would not trust this car dealer and would not recommend anyone to buy a used car online. It was a very expensive lesson for me .

I have had the worst experience of my life in terms of a purchase, in buying our car from Autohero. As I speak we bought our car in January of this year and have been without the car for various serious problems for around six months. We have had to pay for parts to be replaced, we have had awful customer service, massive and constant delays, lack of information, complete lack of empathy or basic professionalism. (All of this despite having the full guarentee that we paid extra for). Our car has apparently now been repaired (We are now on the sixth different garage) but has been sitting in a garage 100km away (Autohero's choice of location) for the last four weeks because although it's apprently fixed, they cannot organise transport to bring it to us (as they guaranteed because of the extreme serious problems, this time with the engine). It has been over four weeks that the car is apparently repaired but we have not received it.

Autohero representative admitted earlier this week (12 November) that they actually don't know where our car is, and they have no way of contacting contacting the company that should be delivering it to us as they have no contact number for them. The situation is beyond surreal.

We have no idea now what to do, we have a young family and live somewhere very inaccessible by public transport. It has been, and continues to be an absolute nightmare.

I leave this review in the hope that it deters anyone from buying from this company. No one deserves the experience that we have had, and are continuing to have.

I bought my first car in Spain through AutoHero and had an excellent experience. The company representatives kept in touch with me and I received email notifications throughout the process. I liked the website, which shows detailed pictures of scratches and cosmetic damage clearly, and also service history documents. Thank you to everyone I had contact with. I'm enjoying my 'new' Kia Sportage.
