Takata airbag settlement

I was advised that my bank details were wrong. I filled out again the same details I provided in the first place. Still nothing. They do not return calls or answer their phones. DON'T TRUST EPIQ.

Epiq Takata payment problems

Epiq were appointed administrators of Takata claims in Australia. I received an email stating my claim was approved prior to 5th October payment date. According to the website payments started on 5th October. On 17th October I sent an email stating that no payment had been received to date and how can I check my banking details. No reply. Sent another email request a day later. No reply.
On 28th October the website stated that those members whose banking details were not correct were sent an email on 27th October asking for details. On the 28th October I sent an email advising them no such email has been received by me to date. No reply to any emails so far and no payment from Epiq - an Epic failure.
Are they so understaffed that they cannot -
A) Advise me whether my claim has been paid.
B) Advise me of ETF details if paid.
C) If not paid because banking details not correct why I have not received an email to advise me of this on 27th October, as per their website.
D) Reply in any form.

Really poor performance.

Takata airbag settlement payments

Epiq Systems Australia Pty Ltd were appointed by the NSW Supreme Court in June 2022 as settlement administrators for the successful Takata airbag class action. I am one of 24,482 Group members to be awarded $846.55. My claim was lodged in Oct 2021 using the specified form. The form requested that Australian Group members provide their BSB & account number for the payment to be made. This is the standard way all ETFs are created within Australia. Their website now shows that payment processing began on 5/10/23 but that the Australian banks have rejected hundreds of payments! This would appear to be because Epiq System have decided to make the payments from the US and full Swift bank details are required. Their website now states that the fault lies with the Group members not providing correct banking information! This is outrageous. I have now lodged a formal complaint with a director of Epiq Systems Australia Pty Ltd and I intend to lodge a complaint with the AFCA & the NSW Supreme Court.
