I already have a Auto vox standard reverse camera. I.e one camera, monitor with stubby Ariel and one camera system. Great no problems. 5 Star
When looking for a solution for my new car, I went straight to Auto Vox again. I was pleased to see the 3A. Chance to add a extra camera. I brought the set and a extra camera.
When it arrived I was pleased, new design smoother, improved.
Anyway fitting it caused issues, firstly the red self double sided tape for the cameras was anything but sticky! Useless more like. But as I am in Europe, I had to screw the cameras into the bumper and fit the license plate over the bracket…… Why do you not make a European bracket now if selling into Europe?
The inside was a disaster! The original camera had a suction cap monitor holder which worked well, this one, despite saying it had in the instructions, only has a piece of tape to hold a bracket to the dash, but never mind, a self adhesive pad will work! But only if sticky! This pad was useless, I doubt it would stick paper together, I ended up butchering a phone holder i already had to hold the monitor, it looks great but no thanks to Auto Vox.
So yes the cameras work well, but this required a lot of thought to get right, not a simple fix like the original one.
Average DIY fitters need to think ahead.
So
1. Make European brackets
2. Give us back the suction cup holder for the monitor.

Awesome addition to my ability to see objects from a different vantage point. Highly recommended for those that need the extra visibility when operating and vehicle this unit is installed in to include UTV’s that are driven on the road ways plowing now or driving with traffic.

At 85yrs old, I bought the Solar Vox back up to assist me back out of my driveway more safely. It has fulfilled that requirement beyond my expectations. In addition, I found that it greatly facilitated my ability to easily and accurately back into parking spaces. The unit was extremely easy for me to install at my age and limited technical savvy. I found the customer service to be prompt, courteous and effective. I have been very satisfied with the performance and reliability of the product. As a result, I have readily recommended it to my friends and family.

Looked at many products but the reviews on auto vox are great .Brought the solar power 5 with the new 7 inch screen .so simple to set up picture is great !the camara on the back is long but I find it keeps drivers away from your car to since I've had on nearly all cars seem to stay away from ypur car instead of being to close so this is a great bonus !brilliant bit of kit can't live without it now !

I have it installed in my camper van. It is very useful for me. Its easy to install and the function and the quality of the picture (also at night) is very good. therefore I can recommend the product.

You really find out what a company is like when you have a product problem or need spare parts.
I can honestly say that Vicky at AUTO-VOX could not have been more helpful.

The set up was fast and in less than 30 minutes, it was ready to go. This 1080p backup camera has really crisp resolution for night and low light maneuvering. The signal has been strong and has not flickered, even in remote areas and in stormy conditions. Overall, this 4.8" HD Super Night Vision camera is awesome!

This is an amazing product! A local car shop wanted $500 to $600 to install something just like this. Installation was incredibly easy. I needed one screwdriver. It is great being able to back out of a parking place in a busy parking lot and have the security of knowing I was going to see some crazy driver going way too fast. It's great getting out of my driveway and being able to see the neighborhood kids on their bikes. Customer support has also been amazing.

Purchased the big 7” solar reversing camera setup for my Lexus convertible as didn’t want to do a load of wiring. Was simple to install and connection between the camera unit and head set simple. Picture quality is excellent and can now park safe in the knowledge I won’t damage the rear.
So impressed I have just ordered an extra camera and going to install that on the front so I can park front ways safely also and it will connect to the same unit in parallel.

Having now got an oldish campervan I was missing the reversing camera that my car has. Plus it’s wider longer and higher!! I went for the Auto-Vox wireless solar one and it’s good. I had to use the metal bracket as the back doors are barn doors so had to put it higher but the top is fibreglass. The connection is very easy and each time connects in seconds. No wires and camera self charging only the screen to plug into cigar lighter. Very clear screen and a very wide view. Would recommend!

I purchased the W7 reversing camera from AutoVox and it’s brilliant. When I got it and checked out how to install it into my car, instructions were clear and the kit was easy to install. Customer services were great too, I accidentally broke the screen with my door and they were able to help me with a new one at a discounted price. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a reversing camera for your car.

I had a rear collision not too bad but bad enough that I realized I needed a better solution than relying on mirrors. That’s when I came across the AutoVox rear view camera, it is a plug and play rear view camera. Just up my alley! It is dependable but not completely waterproof which was my undoing but I am replacing it with the AutoVox 2 camera and anticipate the same great features and functionality!

I bought back-up camera with wireless monitor. The monitor will not connect to the base, so could not attach to windshield, just tried to stick it on dash with alien tape, then command hook, it just rolls all over the dash. To try to use the camera backing up to hook up horse trailer, you have to hold the monitor. It's no help at all, and neither is "customer support". I've "chatted" several times, never get a human, a message pops up that a product specialist will contact you within 24 hours. I have 7 of those messages in the chat transcript. still waiting since June 6.

The only reason I went with this camera is because all of the positive reviews. I guess I got the dud. Mine never would pair. Takes customer service a day to reply. (As long as they respond I dont care) but dont want to drag a simple return out for a week. Overall very disappointed.

Just what I was looking for it's not easy to put a wired reversing camera on my car number plates is on the boot lid so this solves all of the issues. Yes it takes more than the minutes they say but still a lot quicker and easier than running wires all over the place. For peace of mind I got a new wider number plate 6 inch didn't want to get stopped for obscuring letters also drilled a extra hole in the bracket to fasten to number plate don't exactly trust the glue pad. Doing the monitor was the easiest of it all managed to run the cable no problem it even stuck to the dashboard very well

The customer support at Autovox were fantastic throughout my installation of the V5Pro Dashcam, ensuring that I had the correct peripherals so that I could use the rear camera in my XL wheelbase van. We found a solution after several attempts to extend the wiring without compromising on functionality. The customer support advisor was kind and understanding of my needs. Very rare to find helpful aftersales nowadays, but this service was 5 star!

I purchased a auto-vox solar 4 back up camera and carnt praise it enough so simple to fit and works absolutely spot on .the picture quality is fantastic I did have a query about the timer on the screen that the customer service answered for me in no time fantastic service would highly recommend

Bought a Solar 5 recently - v pleased with it. I already had a steel plate on the rear of my caravan. The camera magnet is v strong & held really well. The camera to monitor sync was immediate, no need for me to intervene. No break up of rear view during a 2.5 hr & 110 mile road trip. The monitor’s screen view was clear inside the car. So much better than the previous WiFi camera that utilised my iPhone with a 3rd Party app - too much break up, probably due to Merc’s own WiFi or my Dash Cam’s WiFi interference? Good quality materials, nice case - thoroughly recommend to any caravanner.
