I decided to embark on the wild journey of writing a manuscript. Ack! Mostly fine and dandy, but I started to overwhelm myself as I was researching the work that comes after the draft is complete - especially with marketing and outreach. Through a Google search I found Maplewood Publications, and Trevor followed up from me. We had an initial call where he clearly explained all of their offerings, and even had one of his editors provide an initial review of what I had written at that point. It was awesome! Full disclaimer that I am still very much in the writing phase and not working with Maplewood Publications yet, but Trevor has been (in a no-pressure way) checking in with me. I am very excited to finish my manuscript and move forward in the process, and I really appreciate the encouragement from Trevor.

They stuck with the projects although there were rough moments where I felt I wasn't getting enough focus. When the project landed on Damian Blake desk after several months, the book got done within a month. There were several backs and forths.

I was amazed by how organized and transparent the process was. Every update came on time, and every suggestion they gave improved my book's look and readability. The finished version was perfect. I'm already planning my next release with them.
