Incorrect insurance advice led to financial loss on non-refundable hotel booking
I contacted this agency before booking to confirm whether the travel insurance they offered would cover me as a non US resident. I was advised that it would, and based on that assurance, I proceeded with a non-refundable booking.
After payment, it became clear that the insurance was not valid for non US residents. This left me with a non-refundable hotel booking that I would not have made had I been given correct information.
As a result, I incurred a financial loss.
I raised this with the agency, but they have declined to take responsibility for the incorrect advice given prior to purchase.
This experience has been disappointing, particularly as I relied on their guidance when making an important booking decision.

In addition, as a gesture of goodwill, Authentic Travel Connections will be issuing you a reimbursement of $886.00.
Please allow up to 30 days from today for the funds to be processed and reflected back to the original credit/debit card on file.
