Auriel Holidays 

Well organised - everything went like a dream. Great train journeys, great hotels and down time just when we needed it. At least one highlight everyday whether it was the hustle and bustle of Florence to the awe of Pompei or walking in the Tuscany hillside. Our second Auriel adventure and can’t wait for the third.

This was my third small-group tour, and our first with McKinley Kidd. Our guide was knowledgeable, witty, and kind, and our fellow travelers (11 besides us two) were friendly and fun. The scenery and accommodations were first-rate, as were our varied experiences and ample meals. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in Scotland, it's history, and it's lovely people.

We have had great service, especially from Susan. Always on the ball, always there to help, always reliable. Thank you so for your service. I definitely recommend this travel company. I have used many times before and will continue to use in the future too.

Auriel Holiday provided us with a bespoke holiday in a very short time to visit Japan, Korea and Hong Kong. They listened to our requests and requirements and did their best to include these.

St Hellier is not great and I would not stay there again.

All travel arrangements were very good.

Selection of CV and particularly Villa Rodi was the key to a successful holiday in Corfu. Keeping us up to date with the Gatwick strikes and the wild fires gave us comfort that these issues were being dealt with and that we could proceed with confidence. Choice of Enter Air as courier was questionable but continuing support on baggage recovery is appreciated. Holiday was expensive but delivered on all our key requirements.

The organisation and courier Ciaran were exceptional. The journey took us to special places Iona and Staffa included. We were lucky to have fellow passengers with a mix of countries all getting on so much so it was sad to say cheerio. The only downside was the Jacobite train not running (health and Safety gone mad again) but the boat trip with Dolphins and Seals more than made up for it. I would definitely go with you again.

A great holiday that was months in the making.
As my wife is increasingly disabled it was important that everything possible was planned and prepared in detail. Auriel provided a brilliant one to one service that included video calls and conference calls. They ensured that they understood our needs in detail, then ensured that all of that was delivered during the trip. When there was a small snag during the trip they reacted very quickly even though it was a Sunday morning.
The tour worked out almost perfectly thanks to their efforts and attention to detail.

We went on a 15 day circular trip of Iceland starting at Reyjavik and heading clockwise, taking in Snaefellsnes before heading across to Akureyri, Myvatn, Egillstaddir and then down the east coast and returning to Keflavik airport. The whole trip was amazing with stunning scenery, abundant birdlife and lovely Icelandic people.

Special moments were visits to the lava caves in Snaefellsnes; Hrisey Island; Myvatn Lake and geological area; the waterfalls at Godafoss and Dettifoss. Special mention needs to be made of the Jokulsarlon Glacial lagoon boat tours and the Lava flow at Vik.

The hotels were clean and well presented and the catering standard was generally high and the effort put into meeting our personal requirements were much appreciated.

As a personal preference we would concentrate on future visits on the NE quarter of Iceland taking in Akureyri, Mvatn and Egilsstadir. The question is not whether we will return, but when.

Auriel Holidays remained our contact throughout the booking and run-up to the holiday and we were impressed as ever by the friendly and helpful attitude of the staff. This is our second holiday booked through Auriel or their sister company 2by2 and we were very glad we persevered after other trips were cancelled because of Covid.

Auriel came up with an excellent deal for a week's cruising to the Norwegian fjords. We had a fabulous time and will go again if the opportunity arises.

Kate and the team at Auriel created a perfect holiday for us and we have nothing but praise for the experience from start to finish. They listened to what we wanted and offered a few options, booked everything and then were there to answer all questions in a timely fashion. I'd have to hesitation in recommending Auriel Holidays to couples or families for a really well organised holiday!

Auriel holidays put together a bespoke wildlife holiday to Costa Rica for us. Their arrangements and service were first class and they really listened to what we wanted. The accommodation in the 5 ecolodges we stayed out exceeded expectations with first class friendly service and excellent food. The organised wildlife trips proved very productive and provided many photo opportunities.
