Billing Issues: Cancelled Subscription Still Active

I am extremely frustrated with Atlassian's billing and cancellation process. My subscription was cancelled on March 24, 2025, and have not used the service since. Despite this, payments have continued, and I am unable to access the account to cancel it myself. I urgently require an immediate cancellation of the active subscription and a full refund for all charges incurred since March 24, 2025. The lack of response to my previous emails, in fact no one is now responding, and the ongoing charges for a service I cannot access and believed was cancelled is unacceptable.

migrate to Jira and wish I hadn't bothered

Trying to migrate to Jira and wish i hadn't bothered, it's a total nightmare of site, the simplest of things they have made incredibly difficult and over-engineered just about everything. And of course. you have to upgrade to get the simplest of support which is why I thought I would write here.

I put it to the ai and here is the ai's response.

'Jira really makes something that seems like it should be simple—“just copy my project and keep all my stuff”—into a nightmare.

Team-managed = “easy to start, hard to scale or reuse.”

Company-managed = “flexible and reusable, but you basically have to rebuild.”

It’s one of those things where Atlassian’s design philosophy punishes you for choosing simplicity early. You can’t undo it.'
