We needed a new boiler and asked Darren to quote in competition with another firm. We were impressed both with the quote itself, and the advice Darren gave us about choice of boilers. We were very pleased with the work, and the efficiency of Darren's service, and would be happy to recommend him

Fast efficient service

Fast efficient service, no problems at all would definitely give them a call again for plumbing needs... very friendly and knowledgable engineers.. :) clean and tidy workmanship and very professional :)

Ashford Central heating fitted a few …

Ashford Central heating fitted a few radiators for us, did a flush for the central heating system and fixed any faults found. We are extremely happy with the service they provided they are reliable, quick and neat. I recommend them and i will used them in the future to change the rest of the radiators.

Problem sorted

Blanked off gas hob in kitchen. Quick and speedy service. Had a small issue at first but was resolved extremely quickly. Friendly service.

We Are sorry to hear you wasn't pleased with a recent visit to your property to remove your Gas Hob by one of our engineers. Having now reviewed the Job we can confirm we actually charged you less than the original prior agreed quote, regardless of the amount of time we were there. We Carried the part on Our well stocked vans , so were able to complete the job in a timely manor. We also advised you the cost would be increased if you required a Gas Certificate via Building Control which is only needed for a new installation Not to receive an invoice, which will be issued at the end of the working week as per all customers

Emergency weekend call out for a burst tank

We had a burst water tank late on a Saturday and Darren responded promptly and fixed the initial issue. We then used him to replace the tank and to carry out a full powerwash and boiler replacement. Now we have excellent heating in all rooms.

Prompt and reliable

Turned up when he said he would and solved the problem very quickly. Let's hope the service for our boiler is as good when he returns in a couple of weeks. Excellent!

Reliable & dependable, no frills no fuss

Darren has always been ready with sound, reliable advice. Where other engineers have come in and tinkered, and fiddled and then submitted astronomical quotes, Ashford Central Heating has come in, quickly fixed the problem then advised of the next course of action. Clear, concise and understandable.
Independant trustworthy service and advice.

excellent service - professional and trustworthy

I have used these guys three times now and have had no problems with the quality of work. Darren gave an honest assessment of the work and carried it out in excellent time. He arrived when he said he would and did the job professionally. Highly recommended.

A GENUINE FACTUAL REVIEW

Ashford Central Heating was called out to one of our rental properties to repair a gas central heating boiler that had stopped. After several hours stripping the boiler changing 6 different parts irritating the tenant who was without heating or hot water for days and myself being given an initial invoice for £858, the boiler worked only for 4 hours and stopped.
The plumber who completely misdiagnosed the fault was contacted again who stated he would want the invoice paying in full before re-attending or contact Potterton Direct (the boiler manufacturer) as he could not fix it, and now suggested a new boiler.
As an honorable landlord I wished to ensure the tenant had heating and hot water and reluctantly paid the bill after expressing my dismay, He then reduced the bill by £100.said he would call in again after the weekend! after paying the invoice he then supplied me with the manufactures service telephone number to call out and repair!
Both myself and the tenant had lost complete confidence in Ashford Central Heating and another plumber was subsequently instructed to attend.
I elected to fit a new boiler, the new plumber locating the initial fault to a partially broken mains supply wire interrupting the correct delivery of current to the boiler and stated this was probably the fault with the original boiler.
The new boiler is fitted together with a new supply wire and is working perfectly.
To conclude I would not recommend to other landlords or individuals to trust Ashford Central Heating with any central heating or plumbing and Gas Test work to be carried out.
£758.00 for unnecessary incompetent work.
* An expensive exercise beware!

Any
1. Tenant will be irritated on a long duration/ multipal repair
2, All the mentioned reviews are factual which could be proven if needed
3, I spent 9 hours on the fault, one call of which your tenant called me on a saturday at 7.30 am which i attended
4. parts for a Potterton Powermax are very expensive
4. If it was a power current problem this would not of been highlighted or was apparent during myself or Pottertons fault finding and highlighted when mains were refed to new boiler
5, I had earlier before large parts were fitted suggested to call the manufacture to do a full investigation as these boiler are well documented and even British gas didnt cover them in the past due to costly repairs
6. I feel only charging you for parts which you had said go ahead, although i advised against this and only charging for 4 hours including a yearly Landlord Gas Certificate inc installation of Carbon Monoxide alarm AND giving a £100 discount, i would say we have more than fair
7 To this end I hope this explains the matter in more detail and is acceptable to you, however would be accommodating in retracting the discount and follow up the Libelous Comments if this is not
