Since this business started (just over a year ago!) I have ordered a selection of wines every month. My special favourites are their Italian Reds & Prosecco. All this great wine has spoiled me- I can no longer drink wine from Tesco! 😃 Great, friendly & fast service. We live local and delivery is so quick. We are big fans of Ashby Wines. Unprofessional, misleading advertising
Cancelled order after payment was made due to ‘increased prices from supplier’. Unable to honour the price ‘agreed’ and advertised on the website.
Misleading, unprofessional and unethical company. Disappointing service.

Dear Hector, We are very sorry you felt the need to leave this review as we spoke to you, before we refunded the order, to explain the situation we were in. As you are aware, the wine you were looking for is a sought after, not easily sourced, wine that has increased significantly in value over the last year, and we were priced lower than other retailers online, we were also offering a discount for our first birthday, to our newsletter subscribers, which we offered to you as goodwill. However, when we came to procure the wine from our Supplier we were informed the price had increased significantly and we had not been made aware. As a very small and new business we cannot afford to carry this loss and made the extremely hard decision to call you to discuss and I also sent you an email with a link to another supplier so that you would not miss out on your wines. We are very sorry to have let you down as we said when we spoke and we did everything to ensure we did not act at all unprofessionally or certainly unethically. Regards, Claire

Ashby wines are fabulous. I really enjoyed sampling many of the wines they have on offer at their wine tasting evening. All the wines I have bought from that event have been received very well by their recipients.
