Paul and Alistair brilliant individuals
The engineer Paul was a delightful, helpful, tidy and friendly individual. A true credit to the profession and would highly recommend this company for repairs of all kinds of white goods.
The customer service worker Alistair was also very helpful and very accommodating trying to do whatever was possible to get the job done ASAP. Another truly great individual and clearly this company really picks the best and most importantly customer friendly individuals.

Company obviously just taking money and not honouring their service. Complete rip off. Stay well clear. I can not advise strongly enough to stay away. Don't reply to calls unless they think you are buying.
Woeful service
Like several other clients I am appalled by the woeful service and total lack of integrity offered by ASG. I contacted them in January about a faulty warming drawer. After two visits I had paid over £400 and still no resolution to the problem. They charged my £268 for a heater which was not needed. They promised to repay this but after several months, endless phone calls and messages and emails I have had no responses whatsoever. How they are still trading I find unbelievable. As this a trust pilot review I strongly say there is no trust whatsoever shown in my dealings with ASG Repairs. Shameful behaviour.

Hello I do not take this lightly by leaving this but I need to make all aware!
I run a repair company and have arranged for many of my engineers to visit your home and fit parts! Despite the customer paying asg repair for parts and labour they failed to pay the attending engineer! Now as parts have not been paid they are the property of the engineer! Now although we won't be taking legal action against the customer for these parts, legal action will be taking against this company!
Their MD Chris Richardson who has many fingers in many business (check out company house) refuses to pay people like myself!
Invoices! Calls, even postal invoices were sent!
This company DONT have their own engineers!! They use third party guys like myself! They charge the customer a fortune and don't deliver!

Get paid first before working for this company
If you are an engineer asked to carry out repairs by this company, please, please don't unless you are paid up front first. They do not answer the phone and do not reply to emails when chasing up payments.
I needed a cooker hood extractor fan…
I needed a cooker hood extractor fan replaced. I paid ASG the call out fee and the cost of fan with its fitting. The job was sub contracted to another company. The fan is not fit for purpose as we get significant condensation despite the extractor hood fan on maximum where we never had it before the old fan stopped working.The subcontractor denied responsibility as we paid ASG and ASG do not answer emails nor respond to telephone calls. I have been trying to communicate with ASG for weeks but realise I've reached a dead end. I have lost £260 as a result.

SCAM, FRAUD and THIEVING company. Do not be tricked by the fact that they send an engineer out to quote for the repair. They will not follow through and will ghost you after taking payment. DO NOT USE.

Like so many others below how I wish I had read these reviews before I began the process of getting my cooker hood repaired. We booked an engineer in January and paid in advance. I was then required to pre-pay for replacement parts to the tune of £400. Delivery due in Feb. Since then I have chased via email and get completely ignored. Their holding queue for chasing a repair goes no where (I put a spare phone on charge in this queue from 9 am and 7 hours later, still queuing!) voicemails go unanswered. How can such a blatant scam not have ended up in legal action?? At this point I am taking my invoice and concerns to the police. Steer well clear!

They may respond to your first call and charge money for a repair they say they will provide but then they don't provide. I have been chasing them with e-mails and calls over the past few weeks and nothing. I have now seen all these reviews of people having similar issues. I have initiated a claim on my credit card for services not rendered and hopefully I will get my money back but I also hope I can prevent this scam from happening to someone else.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - I LOST £146. I booked and paid for an engineer, non came. I requested a refund and was told it could take 10 days. 14 days later no refund! Rang them, no answer so I left a message - never rang back. Emailed them - no reply. I have lost my money so I'm writing this to warn others - BEWARE!

I think we have been scammed ! Don’t use them . Thankfully using a credit card got our money back we paid upfront for two repairs it was £300 .
Cannot contact them no communication whatsoever.
Terrible service
Terrible service! From the start I had to keep messaging them to get updates. After visiting and telling me I needed a new part, I then had to chase for a quote, once the quote was received I made payment right away. Over a week later I heard nothing, only when I messaged did they actually say they were ordering the part. Another 2 weeks later I'm chasing them up asking when's the part arriving and when is it going to be installed. No reply! Have now cancelled, raised a dispute with the charges on my credit card, and am now writing this review to warn any other potential victims!
