Lynn was absolutely fantastic

Lynn was absolutely fantastic throughout our home-buying journey. We visited three different Ascent estates and were thrilled to find her expertise available across their various sales offices. Her deep knowledge and ability to answer every question with ease truly helped us fall in love with the quality and design of Ascent’s homes.

Maghen at Woodside Gardens was absolutely amazing to work with during our home-buying journey. She was incredibly helpful, friendly, and always approachable, which made the whole process so much less stressful. Her professionalism stood out from start to finish, and she took the time to answer every question and guide us through each step with confidence and care. She was truly a pleasure to deal with, and we couldn’t be happier with the support she gave us in finding our new home. Highly recommend!

Ascent Homes Ellington site

Ascent Homes, Wayside Point Ellington - As someone who has never bought a new build home, we were set at ease by sales advisor Andrea. From the beginning she showed great patience and professionalism. Although the site itself is desirable without her attentiveness the process would have been daunting. As for the home we now live in, we have been lucky to receive only minor snags. Since moving in (September 2025) to todays date, 5 of our snags have been rectified. We have 5 snags still outstanding. As for improvements to the site; the public shared flower beds are sparsely planted and not maintained. Envirocare the company who is in charge of maintenance of roads, plants and general upkeep of the site seems to leave lots to be desired.

Nice development totally let down by shameful landscaping

We love our new home which we purchased last November and had very few snags, the main issue was outstanding work which has now been sorted . So why only 2 stars you may ask ?
Answer: the Landscaping is disgraceful and is certainly not what the brochure blurb describes as “ professionally landscaped”. The area in-front of our homes is shocking and looks like wasteland, it’s supposed to be wild seed , not wild weed, rocks and bald patches coupled with some very sad trees and bushes. The public open space in-front of the show homes is equally shameful, hardly a good first impression. We have brought this to the attention of customer care on several occasions over the past 6 months and all we get is they have forwarded this to the contractor. The contractor appears to turn up and just cut the weeds etc down, it’s supposed to be wild seed . Come on guys get on top of this issue it’s letting the development down badly.

Serious build issues that were flagged…

Serious build issues that were flagged before completion but not dealt with. A year of trying to persuade ascent homes that there was a problem, eventually they agreed after trying to sweep it under the carpet. Now we are left with the nightmare of significant work and zero customer care or accountability from these cowboys. Do not trust them and go elsewhere if you can.

UPDATE AUGUST 2025.
12 months after moving in the issues have snowballed, despite considerable efforts by Ascent Homes to convince us there was no problem. We have spent the entire summer with a scaffold around our house and they have treated our property like a building site. We now face the prospect of having the external walls pulled down and rebuilt, all because they failed to manage their contractors or do appropriate checks which they claim they do. Not a problem for their team though, they probably have the sense not to buy their own produce and don’t have to live through this.
