39 Days Holding My 5,900 USDT — AscendEX Ignores Verified Users
My withdrawal of 5,900 USDT has been stuck in “pending” on AscendEX for more than 39 days.
Full KYC completed. Full proof of funds provided. No TXID generated and no meaningful response from support despite multiple tickets and follow-ups.
I also contacted the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), which confirmed that AscendEX is not licensed by MAS and is listed on the Investor Alert List.
Very concerning experience.
Current Withdrawal Problem.
My experience with AscendEX has become increasingly concerning.
KYC was completed before withdrawal
Withdrawal request was rejected
Support stated the matter was under technical review
No clear explanation or estimated resolution timeline has been provided
I have also observed multiple public reports from users describing similar prolonged withdrawal issues, including KYC-verified users and users reporting extended delays.
I am not claiming fraud or insolvency. I am sharing documented concerns so other users can evaluate potential risks and make informed decisions.
I hope AscendEX provides a clear public explanation regarding these issues.
Terrible
Terrible. 144 hours over(6days) withdrawal delay. Ticket #222562. They are holding my assets without any reason and keeping silent. Total lack of professional support
40 Days Delay - Paid Recovery Fees but No Assets Received - Case #220926
"I am extremely disappointed with AscendEX. I paid a 0.05 ETH recovery fee over 40 days ago for Case #220926. Their support team promised a resolution within 2 to 4 weeks, but that deadline has passed with zero progress. Every time I follow up, I get the same automated 'we are checking' response. This is unacceptable after taking my money. I am warning others: be careful when dealing with their recovery service. I want my assets credited to my address immediately as promised."

I sent my BRISE tokens from AscendEX to KuCoin more than 2 days ago, and I still have not received them. The help desk is also very slow and unresponsive. I think AscendEX is acting like a scammer and beggar group, so don’t send your hard-earned money there. Once you send it, you may have to forget that money. Two days ago, I sent $50 to that beggar platform, and it is still stuck.
My funds
My funds, totaling over $14,000 USD, have been blocked for more than 13 days under a compliance review, with no clear resolution or estimated timeframe.
I have fully cooperated with AscendEX and submitted all requested documentation, including identity verification, bank statements, trading history, and additional supporting materials — all properly organized and verified before submission.
Despite this, I continue to receive only generic responses asking me to “please wait,” with no meaningful update on the progress of my case.
What is even more concerning is that when I tried to seek help in the official AscendEX Telegram group, my message was deleted and I was restricted from sending further messages, even though I was respectful and only asking for assistance.
This situation is now seriously affecting my work, as I depend on these funds for daily trading operations and have been unable to continue.
I understand that compliance procedures are necessary, but they must be handled with transparency, reasonable timelines, and proper communication.
At this point, the lack of clarity, prolonged delay, and restriction from public support channels raise serious concerns.
I hope this issue can be resolved soon, but based on my experience so far, I strongly advise caution when using this platform.
Account frozen and ~32,000 USDT removed — notice references trades I never made
AscendEX froze my account and removed approximately 32,000 USDT without providing a clear explanation.
My account was placed under review after a withdrawal request (~13,000 USDT). Withdrawals were blocked, while trading functionality remained active.
After more than two months, I received a compliance notice alleging market manipulation. However, the notice references trading in BNBP/BNBPC pairs, which I have never traded. My activity was exclusively in BNBUSDT, a high-liquidity market.
Shortly after the notice, approximately 32,000 USDT was removed from my account as a “balance adjustment”, with no breakdown, calculation, or identification of specific transactions provided.
I submitted a detailed response to the compliance notice requesting clarification on the basis of this action, including the specific trades involved and how the adjustment was calculated. To date, I have not received any substantive response.
Currently, approximately 26,500 USDT remains frozen in my account, with no confirmation regarding its status or whether further adjustments may occur.
I am seeking a transparent explanation of the basis for this action and clarification on the status of my remaining funds. I would appreciate a prompt and transparent resolution to this matter.

Ascendex is full of crap!! I opened my case with Tagan Co. and they got me all my money back and transfered to me
Ascendex is full of crap. They have so many checkpoints to make sure a withdrawal isn't possible. From a high minimum withdrawal amount, to requesting more money from me. They were abusive after I had explained I had no more money left. I don't think this is how a company should operate. I am disappointed and hurt. I saw a recommendation to get my money back, with an agency and I took it and my money has been returned. Gradually moving forward with my life and leaving this experience behind.

SCAM! SCAM!! SCAM!!!
SCAM! SCAM!! SCAM!!!
They charge 15 TRX as withdrawal transaction fee when other exchanges charge only 1TRX or less. 2USDT fee when others charge 0.01 USDT. That is if you are lucky they allow you to withdraw. Don't say you have not been warned.
Not a good experience to begin with.

Wish Tokènblaze was shared earlier on.
No regret whatsoever.

Trash I reached out because they delisted some coins, fine. But they cancelled trades and swaps with no notice only allowing withdraws. But the minimum withdraw limit was 4 times my holdings and the fee to withdraw was more than I held. Nov 18 they will be stealing these cryptos with no option for removal from their site.
Major red flags, stay away from these thieves scammers and fraudsters they are trash
Ignore the positive reviews
Ignore the positive reviews, they are fake!
After they deleted my last review few days ago I have no hesitation in calling this company a complete fraud. I have lost my life's savings through this system !! At the beginning it was ok, then there were unannounced rollovers and swaps, many margin calls, no contact with customer service and terrible handling by all my account managers High costs and a SLOW system during the important trading hours must also be expected here.
As a result i had lost all my saved money and i even owed money, i felt desperate, Βlасkwеll Ϭlоbаӏ аdvосаtеѕ is reclaim my money back from them, they don't take an upfront commission for their consulting, i payed them their fee only after i got my money back. I strongly recommend them!

AscendEX (BitMax) has frozen my account and funds for over 18 months — no explanation, no support
In January 2024, my verified AscendEX (formerly BitMax) account was suddenly blocked without prior notice. The account held between $15,000 and $18,000. Despite my full KYC verification, the account was locked without any explanation.
Since then, support has only sent templated responses such as “we’ve forwarded your case to the relevant team” and “thank you for your patience.” They have not offered a real answer in over 18 months. Since July 2025, I can no longer access the account at all because SMS codes for 2FA stopped arriving.
I have filed official complaints with:
CMVM (Portugal’s financial regulator),
CNPD (Portuguese data protection authority),
ECC Portugal (EU Consumer Centre),
European Ombudsman,
and also contacted CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko to bring attention to the situation and urge a reconsideration of AscendEX’s listing. They acknowledged my message but said they would need more input from other affected users to take action.
I also plan to file a police report under fraud, as these funds have essentially been stolen.
We will continue escalating this to regulatory bodies, sharing public reviews, and warning others — both to seek justice and to prevent more people from falling into the same trap.
After reading numerous similar cases online, I started a Telegram chat called "@ascendexx", where victims of AscendEX’s practices are now sharing their stories, coordinating efforts, and working together to bring visibility to this issue. No paid services are offered — it’s purely an open forum for affected users.
