Friendly and knowledgeable motorbike instructors.
Highly recommend!
Great instructors, well informative, friendly. Thanks for helping me with my CBT training J. Jordon
Did my entire journey with ART from never having been on a bike to completing my full licence! Think I’ve had a lesson with each one of the instructors over the time, all very friendly and really do put you at ease to get you through and test ready!
Big thank you to Andy and Dave for getting me through my DAS and helping me get the confidence in myself!
Highly recommend these guys
I had a lovely experience today on my CBT. I’m very grateful to John our instructor for his patience and for his lovely singing voice (ahahah). Thank you for making this day a very good day.
Wow wow wow, I cannot thank the team enough. I have had a couple of non bike related accidents that put the fear in me for bikes but instructors, Dave and Dave did so amazing at calming those nerves and teaching me proper riding techniques and getting through my big girl license with just 1 minor! I could not be happier or more impressed and have just put a deposit down on a lovely street twin 900 😍
Comprehensive and very enjoyable experience with Steve and the Team from ART. I have completed initial training, CBT and theory and most recently my Mod 1 and 2 and have to say that I would highly recommend ART. I will be coming back for further training once I have some experience without the “L”plates. I enjoyed learning to ride safely and progressively and would like to especially thank Steve, Bex, Andy and John with their knowledge, encouragement and support in attaining my full licence.

Highly recommend going with ART for your rider training! Great team, real focus on safety and doing things right - Andy was my instructor for a refresher session and then 4-days through to Mod 1 & 2. Very comprehensive instruction across many different situations on the road, Andy really tailored his advice to my level and has a very calm manner on the radio, always learning something and confidence inspiring. Moreover just a nice bloke and made four days in pretty appalling weather very fun indeed ! Thanks a lot guys and I’ll be back for some advanced sessions in the summer!
I bought a voucher that I wanted to change to another person, all I got was NO that’s not allowed, not very good customer service.

Just completed my cbt with Andy, great guy very professional. He made it very simple and very clear what he needed from me in terms of ability and with a little guidance I passed. Having contacted other schools and having friends that have been to other instructors I have no doubt in my mind that ART are definitely in a league above. Now I move on with ART moving onto full license. Again thanks Andy and the team at ART. 10/10
Did my CBT last month, having had no proper previous experience on a motorbike. John was an amazing instructor. Patient, knowledgeable and excellent teaching skills. He build my confidence and self belief and I am now the proud owner of a 125 and looking to progress to a full licence. Would highly recommend.
If I could give less than 1 star I would. Not at all good for new riders. Went in for a day of learning for my CBT. Not only was the second rider favoured over me and given more instruction and attention. Resulting in me falling off the bike and damaging the mirror (which ART are trying to charge me for) I was then sent in to sit in the office for half the day. DON’T GO HERE
Had great day doing my CBT test with ART, John Jordan our instructor made the day a great experience, with humour and banter, but also with great instruction and all the safety requirements you need to be a better rider. I would highly recommend ART to anyone for all aspects of motorcycle training and tests.
Thanks Again.
I recently completed my Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) for motorcycle riding with Dave, and I must say the experience exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, it was evident that professionalism and safety are top priorities here.
Dave is an exceptional trainer who not only possesses a vast wealth of knowledge but also knows how to impart it effectively. His meticulous attention to detail ensured that no stone was left unturned, providing me with the comprehensive foundation I needed as a beginner. His teaching style blends the perfect mix of theory and practical application, making complex concepts easy to grasp.
Given the quality of the training, it's clear why so many people recommend this establishment. I am so impressed that I plan to return for additional training, to become a proficient and safety-conscious rider.
If you're considering taking your CBT or any other motorcycle training, look no further. Highly recommend!
A really good day completing my CBT with ART. The training covered a lot of detail and I have left the training feeling confident and ready to go.
Shown lots of good skills and bike handling throughout the day which will certainly benefit me and allow me to build experience on.
Thanks.
What can I say?
Well, thank you all for helping me on my journey in working towards a full motorcycle licence.
Andy, Dave, Ian, Bex, and all the family at ART for helping me achieve CBT certification.
I can't give you all enough praise for your patience, professionalism, and encouragement.
Trust me ART will bring out the biker in you!
Now I'm going to work towards a full motorcycle licence with ART.
I passed my test back in 1998 with ART and have done more training with them over the years. I would totally recommend this company to anyone looking for a professional riding course.
The best motorcycling school. I got my license on the first attempt. I'm thankful for all my instructors, especially Steve.
Having been through lessons, CBT, and now the direct access course with ART I can say their instructors and courses are fantastic. They have very experienced instructors who will take you through everything step by step until you are comfortable, safe and competent.
My initial contact was with bexs in customer services, whom I found to be just so very helpful, knowledgeable and made the whole process of booking very simple, just by discussing matters with bexs I knew I was choosing the correct place ART to do my cbt.on the day of my training,I was as expected apprehensive, nervous even though I,m in my fifties..and been a professional driver in London for 30 yrs..however these nerves soon disappeared as soon as I approached the site office,I was greeted by 2 guys..who were just so polite, courteous ,and welcomed me immediately,2 geniune friendly guys.
Straight away any fears, nervousness disappeared, refreshments were offered straight away, and introductions were made..we were 2 guys to 1 instructor, which in my previous experience is the way that works to perfection..our instructor John jordan.
I,m going to find very difficult to praise John enough,as I would not think they is enough words in the English dictionary to do so…John was just an absolute pleasure to meet..polite,excellent knowledge,a sheer professional, and is without any shadow of a doubt is on the top of his game.great sense of humour, and geniunely a real all round nice guy.
With regards to the days training,it was very informative, professionally conducted, educational,I did not relize I could have learnt so much, you really did feel personally that John was concerned of our safety,he made me feel safe, and reassuring.full of praise and encouragement,it was just so easy with John, his attitude throughout the day was just incredible, and beyond belief,an absolute professional to the highest standard, being a very hot day,John encouraged us at all times to take on water / fluids ,with regular break intervals..the kit supplied was all new,it is a long day,and rather exhausting, but the time seem to fly..and I,m convinced this was because the whole experience was so enjoyable,I,m still sitting here now..trying to work out how I learned so much in a day..johns teaching has certainly opened my eyes,to riding a bike and it’s safety.I just can’t thank ART and the team enough.I am just so glad I chose these guys.
I urge anyone researching the web for a cbt…only consider these guys at ART…I can’t stress this enough, trust my word..it’s worth the wait,if there is one,i travelled from London to ART location, and I,m glad I did.
I can’t recommend these guys enough.
Excellent all round …full stop
