This is a complete scam

This is a complete scam. When you subscribe, they list how many pictures, videos, music you can generate with the credits you choose in your subscription. Turns out it is a lie (maybe it is calculated for a whole year, with minimal length and lowest features, I don't know, to trick you). Basically, with the 16000 credits you can only generate a few videos, in my case my first video took 5000 credits and came out as complete crap, very bad quality, completely useless. Okay, you can maybe choose the model and economize, but this is not what was promised. They said you can generate:

AI images
~ 1,650
AI videos
~ 103
AI voiceovers
~ 3
AI music
~ 110
In my case I can generate 3 short videos per month 3x12 is still 36 per year. Only a few second short video, unusable. So, maybe one second lowest quality videos you can generate 103, but not anything usable. This is a complete scam. A customer protection agency, should shut the company down and any other which does these kind of false promises.

Artlist's AI Tool Kit Customer NO SERVICE

Artlist's AI Tool Kit, while sometimes good, can provide something entirely different than requested. This has happened twice. Promises by their Robot Help Desk to escalate to a live agent are futile. No one has responded. I will be dropping their service if they can't provide better Customer Service. I have subscribed to their partner platform, Motion Array, for months without issue.

Great customer service, great stock footage

Great customer service. I was automatically charged with my annual subscription which I didn't intend to renew at the moment. I contacted them and they were quick to process a full refund and cancellation of the service.

I've not put the full 5 stars because I believe all subscription services should send notifications to the user with enough time before charging annual subs.

Great selection of stock footage, made by real filmmakers and videographers with great artistic and production value.

Not a big fan of the AI integrations they did recently. Although, to be fair, I haven't explore those that much yet.

Overall, great site for footage and other assets such as sound effects and foley.

The company is a total scam

The company is a total scam. They promised roughly 1200 images per month on the license I purchased (16 pounds a month). 15 images in, my credit was almost exhausted, I barely generated any images. Adding insult to injury, when cancelling my subscription, I was told I couldn't use the images if I didn't have an ongoing subscription, or it would result in a copyright claim. I have NEVER seen anything like this! I discovered that the images were being generated by Google Nano Banana. So I just took my prompts - redid the images there FOR FREE and can breathe easy with reusable assets. On top of that - cancelling your sub is hidden quite well, so you waste time trying to find it. Happy I found Nano Banana, sad that I wasted 16 quid on a company with disgusting practices.

Thanks for sharing these details, we’re passing this along to our team to take a closer look. Credit usage can vary depending on the model, settings, and video parameters, which is why actual output may differ from the maximum estimates shown. We’re also continuing to improve transparency around credit costs, as well as prompt accuracy and output quality.

Amazing Customer Service

I contacted the team in regards to a mistaken yearly transaction. I was very surprised at the no hassle refund and the quick turnaround. Literally about 8 hours of that. Money was returned promptly.

I’ll keep this Ai service simply based on there customer service.

The GREAT AI con

The GREAT AI con! I will not be renewing my subscription with them! The price is an absolute rip-off and you really don't get anything for your money! Measly credits that are vaporized in a few days trying to generate something! 90% of the time it spits out stuff that I do not want and I end up deleting so those credits are lost! No intuitive methods of use, i.e if you delete content that wasn't useful credits are restored!

You are better off going with stock sub at the point at least what you see is what you get!

I went on Artlist to try their AI video…

I went on Artlist to try their AI video tool (Seedance 2.0).

I paid around €59 for a subscription, which gave me 16,500 credits advertised as being enough for “up to 206 videos.”

I generated a single 10 second clip to test it, and the result was not usable.

What surprised me is how quickly credits are consumed compared to the actual output quality. A single short video can require multiple attempts to get something acceptable, which means the real usable output per subscription is much lower than what the advertising suggests.

At that point, the cost per usable second of video becomes quite high, especially compared to traditional production or editing workflows.

Outstanding customer service-Went out of their way to help me

I somehow accidentally subscribed to a Voiceover program which A: I had no use for and B: technically was over my head.
Everyone at Artlist was very understanding and thoughtful and they helped me to extricate myself from this situation.
I can't comment on the services the company offers (again, they exceed my ability to execute them), but as a company, they are really great!

My refund was resolved right away.

I made a mistaken payment on my account and went to request a refund. I first tried the online chat on the Artlist website, and it was great; even though it was a bot, it understood my problem quickly and immediately opened a ticket to be handled via email. The email response was also very fast, and my refund was resolved right away. Everything happened within the same morning, and the money has already hit my bank account. I'm very satisfied with the service and the attention, but I’m especially impressed by the speed of the resolution. I was truly blown away.

Trap

The second you stop your subscription they starts to report and claim rights on your old videos on for example youtube. So to use the music and sound, and so on, you either as to countinue the subscrition for ever or delete everything you made from artlist music ever.

Five Star Rating - Highly Recommend

I researched several options, and am very impressed with the quality of the voiceovers. This has been a game changer for my product. In addition to the high quality, I ran into an issue with the account which was quickly resolved. They helped explain the best plan for my needs and I couldn't be happier with the experience.

Very bad service

Very bad service, I bought the plan for a month and I spent 19.99 €. I saw immediately that it was complex and what was generated by their IA was unusable and very very poor quality. Same day without downloading anything I asked the money back as obviously I could not use anything and they did not accept to refund.
I think it is a very bad service for this reason I give them 1 star ⭐ which is even too much.
Please review your way of dealing with customers.

Criminal behaviour

My husband signed up for the service. He tried it but the service is not what it should be for his needs. He asked for a refund. He paid 19.99 eur and maybe spend 1.50 eur for try that he does not even download it. He asked to give back the difference but Artlist did not agree while their terms and conditions makes you understand in a different way. It is criminal to keep money and not give anything as exchange for it.
