Appreciatie you can subscribe for a short period of time, that would be my pro. I use it only for music and sfx, and I find it hard to find anything really , they’re pushing on AI features, but obviou... See more

To me this is a scam
To me this is a scam. In just pressed a button saying "get more credits". I never subscribed to a pro plan, never used it, but they have been charging 20 $ a month for 6 months! Imposible to cancel my plan of course. they make it as difficult as possible. Nothing in the help section either. They mention how to resubscribe but not to cancel your plan.
Feels like a scam
By accident started here by clicking on a paid add while looking for Kling.
This is obvious false advertising and a scam. Much too expensive. You are forced to pay a full year. Only to find out that the tool is very limited, has almost no manual input and gives many classic AI video faulty results. Plus you can make about 25 seconds of video shorts per month max. Not worth it. Avoid it! A very dishonest business model only intend on quick gain giving zero support, not given any good product, not honoring consumer laws and cheating.

I had a great experience with Artlist.
The platform is very intuitive, and the quality of the music and assets is outstanding. It’s easy to find exactly what you need, whether for professional or personal projects.
What really stands out is their customer support. I had an issue with a billing renewal, and the team responded quickly with a clear and professional solution. The refund process was smooth and handled without any complications, which is rare and truly appreciated.
It’s reassuring to see a company that is this responsive and customer-focused. You can tell they genuinely care about their users.
I highly recommend Artlist 👍

How to Lose Customers in One Subscription
Artlist.io might have one of the slickest looking websites out there, unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.
The interface is clunky, confusing, and clearly not built with actual users in mind. Simple tasks feel unnecessarily complicated, and navigating the platform is more frustrating than productive.
Then comes the pricing, wildly overpriced for what you get. But the real problem is the credit system. It’s designed in a way that feels intentionally misleading, making it far too easy to burn through credits without real value in return. “Scammy” isn’t a word I use lightly, but it fits uncomfortably well here.
And if you think customer support will help… think again. It’s practically non-existent. No real accountability, no urgency, and no meaningful resolution when things go wrong. You’re essentially on your own after they’ve taken your money.
This isn’t just a disappointing platform, it feels like a trap dressed up as a premium service.
Plenty of better, more transparent alternatives out there. Avoid

AI dummy-proof
As a newby to the AI world myself, Artlist is definitely proving to be dummy-proof so far. Very intuitive site, but could have a bit more of educational content in my opinion...
Great support

Subscribed by mistake via misleading Google Ad — refund refused
I was searching for a different service (ElevenLabs) and clicked an Artlist sponsored ad that appeared above the genuine search results. I inadvertently subscribed and, in the process of exploring the unfamiliar interface, unintentionally consumed some credits.
I contacted support immediately requesting a refund. Despite purchasing within 14 days and having no intention of using the service, my request was refused on the basis that credits had been used — credits I had no awareness I was consuming.
I am a UK consumer and have invoked my statutory rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. The matter is now being escalated.
This pattern appears consistent with other reviews here. The combination of paid ads targeting competitor searches, an interface that silently consumes credits, and a refusal policy that hides behind that usage is deeply concerning.
Update to follow once resolved.
They didn't honor their refund policy
They didn't honor their refund policy. I also could not cancel my subscription because the website would not load. I didn't download any content or generate any content. I'm still within the 14 days. I put in a ticket the same day, and it was closed that day and marked resolved with no response. I still have not received my refund. I have screenshots and all the proof to anyone who wants to see. I would just like my money back that was taken. I do not recommend signing up for this service.

The chatbot was useless when requesting my refund, so I instead reached out via email. Their customer service rep Chezka was not only effective and efficient but also responded quickly and was able to help me.
A scam
March 2025 I bought a year subscription because the quality of creating images, when I was about to renew my subscription. I realized that I couldn't create images with the original plan I purchased and I needed to pay more in order to create images. I've talk with their customer service, and they say, they keep saying the plan is like this since 2024. I've sent screenshots of the image and the original plan, they say we cannot do anything sorry. To summarize there are better apps. I found Morph Studio, and it is almost the same for less money and affordable. My advice is never go with this scam!!!
Paid almost £20 for the basic month…
Paid almost £20 for the basic month subscription and in two 10s video prompts it ate through all my credits. Couldn’t do anything else for the rest of the month. Obviously cancelled the subscription. What a waste of money!!
It's ridiculously expensive
It's ridiculously expensive, all the AI-powered generations cost a ton of credits, and if you have any left over because you haven't used them, Artlist resets them to zero, which doesn't happen on other platforms like this. I definitely don't recommend it.
Misleading plans and not great at rendering
Artlist pricing plan stated I could get up to 16,500 ai images. It rendered 6. Five of them the app got way wrong and charged me credits. After the last render, I was told that my credits were used and then prompted me to sign up for a year.
I told them they were dreaming. I had to dig deep to find the cancel renewal button. Don't waste your time. Too expensive and not great at following instructions even if they are clear.
My experience was great
My experience was great, they are very helpful when you asked them a question. I’m so happy that I found this platform.
They don't want you to just subscribe
They don't want you to just subscribe; it's obvious that their AI has some kind of prompt injection to ruin the video you are trying to generate. It doesn't matter how good you try! The goal is so you burn your credit and pay more. Ethier poorly designed prompt variation ( so you see variation in the video you are trying to generate ) or Predatory wealth extraction; ethier way I do not recommend; very negative experience. I paid money to receive value; I did not sign up for a slot machine with video generation.
Support That Really Stands Out
Artlist support really stands out compared to many other service providers. My issue with adjusting the plan and the invoice matter from last year was handled absolutely perfectly. The consultant’s communication, involvement, and personal approach were truly outstanding. They looked at my situation not in a selfish or generic way, but personally, with real attention to what would work best for me based on my needs and user experience. It is genuinely support worth praising.
Misleading and unhelpful customer…
Misleading and unhelpful customer service that will try to deceive you in order to avoid paying out refunds.
