If you want a company that will honor its warranty claims and come back after you pay to fix issues, you will want to look elsewhere. James (the owner) is NOT trustworthy and will make NUMEROUS promises which he has NO intention of keeping. After neary 5 months of being strung along and after MANY no shows and excuses - I am coming here to warn others. See below for the story if you want more info.

The original job was done in Aug 2023 and was done on time and looked great. We did see a few weeds but were able to manage and pull about a dozen "sprouts" every week or so. Not a big deal. After a while, it started to become unmanageable and we opted to spray the weeds with weed killer. But, about a year or so later, it was apparent the weed barrier is not holding up. There were weeds everywhere. It looked like we had grass where the rock was installed. It was crazy. I reached out to James in April 2025 via email about the failed weed barrier and there was no response. I remembered that I had his telephone number so I contacted him to please have someone come out. After 2 no shows he finally had someone come out and he let me know the weed barrier did -INDEED- fail and he would have someone come out to remove and lay a thicker, commercial weed barrier which should fix the problem. That was in May. After another no show, he finally sent out one lone soul to tackle a job for at least 2 people. The poor guy had to pull weeds, shovel rock and lay a new weed barrier. He did not get 10 feet in 4 hours or so in the blistering Texas heat. He said he would be back the next week to continue. Leaving his equipment and the rock pulled back with the new weed barrier exposed. No one showed the next week. Weeks went by and new seedlings were growing through the NEWLY laid weed barrier. Let me add that I was speaking to James on the telephone quite often (during this time) who was constantly telling me he will take care of it. So after numerous more no shows, I finally get 2 more guys to come out and do another 6 or so hours of work. They were able to get about 15% of the work done. After many conversations, James said he would come out to spray the area. That was the last time we had someone come out and that was over 2 months ago. My wife thought I was crazy to give him so many chances - he did truly seem to want to help. We returned from a trip abroad after the 4th of July and he basically ghosted us. No follow ups, no more scheduled appointments with no shows, nothing. I texted him to see if we can get on the schedule and nothing. I sent him a final text on 8/15/25 and he said he would get me on the schedule for next week. I said he would have someone out on Wednesday 8/20/25. I knew he was full of it bc when he puts me on the schedule I would get a text message. I got a text message twice in the past and these were the 2 occasions when someone actually showed up.. He is a snake oil salesman at best. Steer clear and go with another company who will actually provide you a warranty. This is not one.

Wow I am so impressed. I looked at the reviews and some were not to favourable. I find reviews often aren't updated for many years and reviews 2/3/4 years old aren't relevant. I looked at the reviews and was a little sceptical. I phoned up and checked they had the grass in stock which they did, live person on the end of the phone who was really nice. I ordered and hoped...
Choices £18 or £19 up to 7 working days. £80 1-3 working days.Paid £18-£19 and "in my case" not necessarily in every case had a text and email the next day saying it was on the way. The tracking was excellent with a map and distance with ETA. What more can I say and I don't even work for the company. :)
I think it is so important to respond to a good experience because everybody is so quick to respond to a negative one. The Grass arrived and Wow it was heavy we lifted it onto a flat roof and now its in pride of place with sun loungers on got the Preston 40 mm and its lovely and soft. Yet to see how it lasts but it looks and feels lovely at the moment.

Shocking company got a quote for the the grass i choose went to collect last Thursday but rang before set off to be told couldn’t collect till following week as they had a audit i had the lads booked in to lay it so had to pay them as i let them down with no grass i rang up to speak to a manager no one got back to me and no reply to emails i had to ring off a different number for them to answer then to be told they had under priced my order and they wont stick by there quote stay away worst people to deal with

We are really happy with the customer service we received from Adam at artificial grass direct. We were under pressure with our deadline and Adam and we couldn’t have complete without the help of Adam and team. Very knowledgable and always easy to reach. Would highly recommend and will continue to use their services again.

Grass was ordered 4 weeks before I needed it so well in advance, was told they couldnt accept card for any payments over £1000 which I thought was weird, get a call a week before delivery to say my grass has been discontinued but they'd send a new 'eco' grass out, day of delivery comes and the driver turns up with everything but the grass, has no idea where it is and has a form with no grass on it. After many phone calls I was promised it first thing in the morning, next morning comes and goes, I had to ring late afternoon to be told they dont have it in stock, but 100% it will be with me in 4 days time, that day comes and nothing, I have to ring again, it will definately be tomorrow they said. By this time I have paid a labourer 2 days money to help with the grass that never turned up. Finally got the grass with promises of compensation and returned delivery fee's at a minimum. Of course when you ring to ask for this you get fobbed off with having to email the director directly!?! as expected Ive still not recieved a reply 2 weeks later, honestly dont use this company, 3 of them are under the same ownership, artificialgrass direct, artificial grass london, and nomow, even the different delivery drivers that came out from them, although nice blokes admitted the company are a joke
