Arthur & Co took >$3 from us

We paid over $3 000 to Arthur & Co (Anne-Marie) for a promised dog placement. Before payment, she was friendly and responsive. Once the money cleared, replies stretched to weeks apart and phone calls were met with hostility.
Despite repeated requests, no evidence of any work was ever provided. Months later she claimed the job was “completed” but refused to show proof unless we paid more. When we mentioned contacting NSW Fair Trading and NCAT, communication stopped entirely.
If you believe you’ve been scammed, report it to NSW Fair Trading and Scamwatch, and seek recovery through the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT) — no lawyer needed.
